Student answer (Band 5.0)

It is argued that some people believe that share news with other peoples is

good way to enhance knowledge in different fields like scientific, research, business

and academic. Other people believe some information is too much significantly

important and worth it so don’t be share with someone. I discuss both view in

this essay, give relevant example then I will give my opinion which view is

correct for me.

On the one hand some people believe share news with others people is very

beneficial for our different apartments like scientific research, business and

academic because this information use in study and significantly essential for

enhance our knowledge and skills. For example my sister is scientist. She knew all

symptoms and vaccine about covid 19 suddenly my uncle effect with this virus she

gave the vaccine and proper information about that virus then my uncle started

his treatment and fight with this virus and thanked my sister to provide information

in right time , Moreover this type of information is very helpful and save life

of others.

On the other hand some people argued that some information is very important

and they do not share with everyone. There are several reasons like when you

share the important news about your academic performance, so many people are

not happy with your success and create problems in your way. In addition many

information is not authentic and reliable so when you share with someone they

effect on the other life’s. It is clear that I agree with first  point of view because when you share authenticand correct news with others and use this  information in real life. You are feel very satisfyingand you become a good human.

In conclusion, share important information with different fields people that’s good for our country and research, but spread falls information and important information that both effect on their life’s In my opinion only share information they help someone. give band and correct my mistakes and also give feed back

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views—that information should be shared freely in fields like science and business, and that some information is too valuable or sensitive to share—while also providing a personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and relies on a personal anecdotal example (about the student's sister and uncle regarding COVID-19) rather than broader societal or academic arguments. Furthermore, the final conclusion introduces slightly muddled thoughts regarding false information which weakens the overall clarity of the position. It meets the criteria for Band 5 by addressing the task partially with limited idea development.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is divided into paragraphs, including an introduction, two body paragraphs representing opposing views, and a conclusion. However, the overall progression is hampered by a lack of cohesive devices and mechanical linking phrases (e.g., repeating 'On the one hand some people believe' and 'On the other hand some people argued'). Referencing is occasionally unclear, such as pronoun confusion ('they effect on the other life's'), and paragraphing does not always function smoothly to guide the reader through a logical argument. These issues place the response firmly in Band 5.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The lexical range is limited and frequently strained by noticeable word choice and collocation errors, such as 'share news with other peoples', 'too much significantly important', 'apartments' (instead of departments), and 'fall information' (instead of false information). While the writer attempts to discuss academic and scientific concepts, the vocabulary is repetitive and lacks precision. Errors occasionally cause difficulty for the reader in grasping the precise meaning, aligning with the Band 5 descriptors.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5

The text displays a very limited range of grammatical structures. Simple sentences predominate, and attempts at complex sentences are almost uniformly faulty, resulting in run-on sentences and comma splices, such as 'She knew all symptoms and vaccine about covid 19 suddenly my uncle effect with this virus she gave the vaccine...'. Frequent errors in tense, subject-verb agreement, and word form (e.g., 'effect' instead of 'affected', 'satisfying' instead of 'satisfied') cause considerable difficulty for the reader and prevent the text from reaching a higher band.
