IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Write about the following topic: Some people believe that it is good to share as much information as possible in scientific research, business and the academic world. Others believe that some information is too important or too valuable to be shared freely. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
some people believe that sharing information in in the fields of scientific research, business and academia is more important, while others think that the most important information should not be shared for free. I believe that, highly important facts should be reserved and should only be shared when needed.
On one hand, shared information in several branches serve so many people. Many people reap benefits from the free resources on scientific knowledge, acedemics or business related shared on internet. Using this kind of information is beneficial for students conducying research or assessment, for example. Students convert the information amd into findings that are useful for future research.
on the other hand, there are also ethical amd non ethical way of using information. Many people misuse the information or sometimes issues like copyrights escaltes. for example, students thus selwctive form of information inhibit people from the wrong use of data.
Inconclusion, information for free can be useful for student but in wthical way. simetimes issues like plagarism forms major issues and spoils copyrights.
