Student answer (Band 5.0)
BASICALLY THEY TRYING TO SAY THAT SOME PEOPLE BELEIVE THAT IT IS GOOD TO SHARE AS MUCH INFORMATION ABOUT SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ,BUSINESS AND ACADEMIC WORLD WHILE OTHER INDIVIDUALS CAN NOT AGREE TO THIS KIND OF DECISONS.
NOWADAYS , PEOPLE WOULD ADORE TO SHARE RELEVANT INFORMATIONS TO OTHER PEOPLE BECAUSE IT WOULD BE SOMETIMES HELPFULL FOR THEM IN THE FUTURE OR ANYWHERE WHEN THEY NEEDED.PEOPLE SHOULD HAVE TO GAIN SOME GOOD AND IT SHOULD BE VITAL FOR THEM TO HAVING A KNOWLEDGE ABOUT BUSINESS AND ACADEMIC RESEARCH AS WELL. THE KNOWLEDGE IS KIND OF THEORY THAT EVERY PEOPLE SHOULD HAVE GO THROUGH THIS BACAUSE YOU DO NOT KNOW THAT WHERE THAT PARTICULAR INFORMATION CAN HELP YOU FOR THE FUTURE.
ON THE OTHER HAND, THERE ARE SOME INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE NOT RELATE TO THIS PARTICULAR SAYING THAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT GAINING INFORMATION. THEY PREFER TO HAVE SOME PRIVACY FOR SOME KIND OF CONTENT. SOMETIMES OTHER PEOPLE USE THEIR CONTENT AND TAKE WHOLE CREDITS SO THEY WOULD LIKE TO NOT GIVE ALL INFORMATION OR DATA TO THEM. SOME DATA SHOULD BE A CONFIDENTIAL BECAUSE SOMEHOW IT WILL DESTROY SOMEONE'S PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY OF THEIR CONCERNS.
IN MY OPINION, PEOPLE SHOULD PROTECT THEIR INFORMATION BY NOT GIVING THEM TO OTHERS. YES DEFINETLY THEY HAVE TO SHARE INFORMATION SO THAT CHILDREN OR OUR YOUTH CAN GET SOME KNOWLDGE ABOUT SOME SIGNIFICANT THINGS IN THEIR LIFE BUT THEY HAVE TO BE CAREFUL FOR FRAUD.ONE OF MY FRIEND HAD A PROJECT RELATED SPACE AND HE IS VERY ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT THE COSMOS BUT SOMEHOW HE OVERSHARED SOME GOOD INFORMATION AND GET CHEATED.THEY HAVE TO PROVIDE PROPER SHEILD TO THER PROJECT OR INFORMATION WHATEVER IT IS.IT WILL BE BIAS FOR BOTH OF THEM.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both views regarding sharing information in scientific research, business, and academia, and presents a clear personal opinion that information should be protected from fraud and privacy breaches. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and relies on sweeping generalisations rather than fully articulated arguments. For example, the explanation of why people want to share information—that 'it would be sometimes helpfull for them in the future'—is basic. The counter-argument touches upon privacy and plagiarism ('sometimes other people use their content and take whole credits'), and the personal example involving a friend provides some support, but overall the task response remains at a Band 5 level due to under-developed support and limited depth of discussion.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into four distinct paragraphs, establishing a basic structure for an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, overall progression is limited and internal cohesion is frequently mechanical or faulty. The transition phrases used ('NOWADAYS', 'ON THE OTHER HAND', 'IN MY OPINION') attempt to guide the reader, but referencing is occasionally unclear (e.g., 'by not giving them to others' where 'them' ambiguously refers to information or people). Furthermore, cohesive devices are sometimes inadequate or repetitive, leading to a choppy flow between sentences. Paragraphing is present, but the logical development within paragraphs lacks sophistication, aligning closely with Band 5 descriptors.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited and repetitive, featuring basic terms and frequent word choice errors. Examples include 'INFORMATIONS' (which is uncountable), 'bacause' (spelling error), 'RELATE TO' instead of 'related to', and 'SHEILD' instead of 'shield'. While the writer attempts some less common vocabulary such as 'CONFIDENTIALITY', 'ENTHUSIASTIC', and 'SIGNIFICANT', noticeable errors in spelling, morphology, and collocation cause some difficulty for the reader. The range is minimally adequate for expressing basic thoughts on the topic, but it falls short of the precision required for a higher band, making Band 5 an appropriate evaluation.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The grammatical range is restricted. The response features basic sentence structures alongside attempts at complex sentences, but these attempts are frequently faulty. There are multiple punctuation and capitalisation issues, such as writing entirely in capital letters in the first sentence and omitting spaces after commas and full stops. Grammatical errors are frequent throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('every people should have go through this'), tense inconsistencies ('he is very enthusiastic... and get cheated'), and missing articles ('having a knowledge', 'provide proper sheild'). These errors cause frequent strain for the reader, placing the grammar score firmly at Band 5.
