IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Write about the following topic: Some people believe that it is good to share as much information as possible in scientific research, business and the academic world. Others believe that some information is too important or too valuable to be shared freely. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
Sharing information with other prople, is always been a good and valueable deed anyone can do in their life. So, everyone should try their best to share knowledge, information or research as much as they can.
To commence with, we should always try to keep our learning mode active. Becuase if we learn or gain knowledge about daily happenings or problems we face. Then we can eaily analize the problem on bigger picture. Then it will be easy for us to solve that problem. For example, their are lots of inventions like mobile phone, television, motor cycle, car, and aeroplane etc, we have invent so far. Each invention have an huge impact on people lifes. They made their life easier and comfortable. Inventors who have invent these inventions or creations they do not keep these things limited to themselves. They have spread their invention, knowlege, and scientific research to all over the world. That's the reason their inventions are always becoming more and more efficient day by day.
On the other hand, If they keep their knowledge or inventions limited to themselves. It won't make others life easir. Secondly, if we talk about sharing critical information with others. It may cause a huge problem if information or scientific knowledge of any research or institue. That information breach can have huge bad impact on that institue, and that information can misused. So, we should be more careful about sharing any important information.
In conclusion, We should share the information or scientific reaserch but keep the confidential information preserve, anyone won't be able to misuse it.

Paragraphing is attempted, though some paragraphs are quite brief or lack internal structure. Cohesive devices such as 'To commence with', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion' are utilized to guide the reader through the text, although some referencing is faulty or mechanical. For example, sentences such as 'Then we can eaily analize the problem on bigger picture' create disjointed transitions between ideas. Logical progression is occasionally hindered by abrupt shifts and repetitive phrasing. Based on these organizational features, the response aligns best with Band 5.5.
