IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Write about the following topic: Some people believe that it is good to share as much information as possible in scientific research, business and the academic world. Others believe that some information is too important or too valuable to be shared freely. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is often argued that few individuals belief that it's advantage to provide knowledge in scientific research, business and academic world. Others claim that few data is too precious to provide openly.
Although both views have valid argument I firmly agree that sharing data is significant impact on knowledge enhancement. Somehow, when we conducted research in various fields by sharing data to others increase our own knowledge. More ideas gathered by communicating individuals. Mostly people prefers to do research in groups that make easy to collect data for each one. In my opinion while open sharing should be encouraged for the advancement of society.
According to second point of view knowledge is not for sharing to others openly. On the other hand there are valid reason to protect certain information. I partially believe that like every person had own choice to give knowledge to others. Some people have great ideas which is not easy to leak them. Every individual has own preference's because each person has different point of view to see some problems. For instance each individual IQ level is high then other one is average and its make big difference in problem solution. Companies higher most intelligent person for their scientific research purpose and payed them in lacs that's why its not easy to give you ideas to other easily.
In conclusion providing knowledge make enhancement in every field of life and its positive impact on society. In contrast some valuable information should not be shared freely without any concern or advantage.
