IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Write about the following topic: Some people believe that it is good to share as much information as possible in scientific research, business and the academic world. Others believe that some information is too important or too valuable to be shared freely. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
There is a debate that some individuals believe that it is good to share as much as informantion as possible in scientific research, business and the academic world. In my opinion, access to important and useful information must be free.
On the one hand, if the people are sharing every type of information therefore it have a lot of advantages. Firstly, every person can learn on this whether they are local person as well as a lot of people can learn about our profession such as business or academic. For example, nowadays, many people are sharing information about education side on the youtube and many student are curious about it. In addition, people are aware about the world such as tecnology progress and other things.
On the other hand, other people think it is extremely significant ot share those information that are crucial and valuable because only those people can understand they can related to this. For instance, although, people are share only business information so it can learn only businessmen. Furthermore, valuable can a few people are understanding. Moreover, if the high level and valuable information is shared after a premium subscription, the public will realize the importance and value of the scientifc work.
In conclusion, I totally believe that although people should be given free acces to a maximum amount of information, certain valuable scientific research ot business information must be shared only after membership.
