IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Write about the following topic: Some people believe that it is good to share as much information as possible in scientific research, business and the academic world. Others believe that some information is too important or too valuable to be shared freely. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays people and their standards of living are growing up, also there are many ways to share the information about how they achieve what they are actually in current, for example, through social media, internet and so on. They're trying to help the needy people how can other also achive.
Some people believe that it is good to share as much information as possible in scientific research, business and the academic world. Which help others to guide and to become successful. For example, if a scientist sharing a research by themselves to country might be helpful for the nation or if a businessman can discuss about the business monopoly to anyone which can help to other solving their problems.
On the other hand, others are believe that some information are too significant or too valuable to be shared freely. Any misleading activity is done by individual may dangerous for others. For example, sharing the information about weapons, how they made, what material is used to be made a weapon.
I believe, information which is shared or sharing for educational or business purposes may be a good sign rather than sharing about nation or top secrets of any country. For example by split information about study through YouTube or any platform may help students to clear their doubts or some people who are not afford school and college fee can study for free.
In contrast, limited and necessary information can be shared to one to others rather than each and every
knowledge.

Paragraphing is attempted, but sentences within paragraphs can feel disjointed due to inadequate or awkward cohesive devices. For example, sentences often begin abruptly or use incorrect referencing, such as 'Which help others to guide' (a sentence fragment starting with a relative pronoun) and 'others are believe that'. Repetition of phrases like 'For example' is also noticeable. These issues place the response at Band 5.0 for coherence and cohesion.
