IELTS Writing Task 2 question

Write about the following topic: Some people believe that it is good to share as much information as possible in scientific research, business and the academic world. Others believe that some information is too important or too valuable to be shared freely. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

Some people believe that it is good to share as much information as possible in scientific research, business and the academic world. Others believe that some information is too important or too valuable to be shared freely.

Information is something that increases with sharing. But this cannot be applies to all kind if information. The people who has opinon of sharing the knowledge with other i s that the think the positive aspect of sharing the knowledge. They think that the provided information is good for their growth and help them to follow the step of the information that is already available. Information sharing reduces his effort he has to work only for the implementation not to worry about the whole process.

While the other hand some people beleives that the information should not be shared freely. There is no problem in sharing Business research to the peoples but scientific research is dangerous if it is shares freely. Everyone handle the information that he get differently. some use this in good way or some use in bad way.

Like some students has given the information about how explosive item are made. some use it for the study how thats work ehile other will tries to copy the process which may be very dangerous for them as well as the people are them.

This means information is something that mat be handles very carefully. we cannot provide anyone every type of information. Information should be provided to most relevent person, When he required.
