IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Write about the following topic: Some people believe that it is good to share as much information as possible in scientific research, business and the academic world. Others believe that some information is too important or too valuable to be shared freely. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
Information is the root of every activity that has to be done. Sharing information plays virtal role in any field of life. It is claimed that, Some people believe that it is good to share as much information as possible in scientific research, business and the academic world. Others believe that some information is too important or too valuable to be shared freely. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.. I discuss both views in detail.
According to the people who considered that information is must be shared relatede to different fields of life, are just thinking about the positive use of information. like in the scientific research, more information on that relevant thing is required as much as possible, and is useful if they got more information because it helps to step onward in the research field. simlarly in business and academic world, information plays a crucial role for the people. They modify their way of business or made more inovations in it depending upon the updated information.
On the other hand, people who thinks that some information is more valuable so it is not for the common person and it should be remain confidential. These types of people has there own opinion which is also valid, we can not blamed them as completely wrong. Because information is depend upon the variuos factors, somtimes it seems not be good but it actually good for the system. sometimes information is about some specific things which are not to be discussed with each and every person, like information about the nuclear projects of countries are too sensitive to share, and it is also a scientific information, but due to its privacy risk it should reamins confidential and is not freely accessible to everyone, but just to membe of team and the government.
To conclude, sometimes sharing information is good but sometimes it is more valuable to share freely, so i have mixed opinoin on this, that both are right.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited and barely adequate for the task. The student employs basic terms repeatedly, such as "information," "field," and "good." There are noticeable lexical and spelling errors that recur throughout the text, including "virtal" instead of vital, "inovations" instead of innovations, "relatede" instead of related, and "reamins" instead of remains. Attempts to use less common vocabulary are unsuccessful or flawed in collocation and word form. Because these errors and the restricted range occasionally cause difficulty for the reader, the response warrants a Band 5.0 for Lexical Resource.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but many complex forms are faulty and marred by frequent grammatical errors. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ("people who thinks," "information is depend"), incorrect tense usage, and punctuation errors.
