Student answer (Band 5.0)
Many individuals are in faith that it is good to share so many information that can help the scientific researchers, businesses and school world, others say that many information are too sensitive to be delivered freely.
in this essay i will discuss on the advantage and the disadvantages of this information and why they should be told to individual and at the same time why they should not be given to individuals.
In our present days information getting from scientists should be given out to the news for the world to see because many do not know what is going up there, if it's bad for them or not so in some cases the people have to know what have change in school facilities, work places for example working with robot ain facilities, that can ease relief or stress from the workers, that information can be of good help or even allow them to teach the upcoming kids to teach them and help the students who have stress in learning and have a little iQ in learning
on the other hand i the advantage of telling people what is has been discovered over the universe which i support is that when this information are passed to the public it brings pains such as heart attacks to some old men or women that hear a news saying robot are taking over their jobs, it will be difficult for them to find a new job after such news they've heard or hearing the satellite in space has gone off, it will bring about panic and riot.
i believe that many not all information should be released to the people but just the president and people in the board.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses both views regarding the sharing of information in scientific, business, and academic fields, and also provides the writer's own opinion towards the end. However, the development of ideas is rather limited and lacks depth. For instance, the arguments concerning the benefits of sharing information rely on loose, somewhat simplistic examples such as working with robots to ease stress and helping children or students with lower IQs. Similarly, the counter-arguments regarding the negative impacts on older adults or satellite failures are underdeveloped and border on hyperbolic. While the position is discernible, the ideas lack the academic extension and robust support expected at higher bands. Overall, it satisfies the basic requirements of discussing both views, aligning with a Band 5.0 performance.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay displays some structural organisation, beginning with an introductory statement and attempting a concluding opinion. However, the overall progression is heavily hindered by poor paragraphing and run-on structures. The main body of the text consists of two excessively long, dense paragraphs that combine multiple contrasting points without adequate separation. Furthermore, cohesive devices are weak, repetitive, or inaccurate. Transitions such as 'in this essay i will discuss on' and 'on the other hand i the advantage' demonstrate inadequate control. Referencing is also confusing at times, making it difficult for the reader to follow the logical flow of arguments smoothly. This corresponds to a Band 4.5, rounded to 5.0 based on the presence of basic cohesive links.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is generally basic and repetitive. The student frequently misuses words or relies on unnatural collocations, such as 'are in faith that', 'school world', 'information getting from', and 'have a little iQ'. There are also frequent issues with plurals and uncountable nouns, as seen in phrases like 'so many information' and 'many information'. While the writer attempts to introduce some less common terms like 'sensitive' and 'discovery', the persistent lexical errors and lack of precision restrict the range. The lexical resource is minimally adequate for communicating basic points, fitting the descriptor for Band 4.5, placed at 5.0 for attempting relevant topic-related vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
Grammatically, the response relies heavily on a limited range of structures, predominantly very long, comma-spliced, run-on sentences that string multiple clauses together without correct punctuation or conjunctions. For example, the entire first body sentence spans several lines with zero full stops. There are frequent grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues ('information are'), tense inconsistencies ('what has been discovered... what is has been discovered'), and missing articles. Complex structures are attempted, but they are consistently faulty. Punctuation is largely neglected, with missing capitalisation at the start of sentences and after periods. These frequent errors cause considerable strain for the reader, placing the grammar firmly in the Band 4.5 to 5.0 range.
