Student answer (Band 5.0)

some individuals think that it is benificial to available as much information as possible in scientific studies, industry and the university. others that some data is highly sensitive so distributed openly is not fare. both the views and opinion discussed.

To begin with, many scientist research and innovation is benefiacial for students progress. For instantce, scientist reserch shared and student use the reserch for devlopment and learning purpose than they grow faster and many problem solved before time. Hence the main reserch got it direct so it help me a lot.

Furthermore, many experts shared trade secret, financial activity so data privacy problem occure. for example, in the corporate sector one private company is coming to public with IPO so it share many financial detail but they shared some monopoly strategies than our bussness close because many owner know the secret and open its owen compnay, many problem occure regarding security.Hence the confidencial data is private is good way to restrict.

My opinion is many confidencial information is restricted is good for every sector like research, business and academic, but some which information is not confidencial and really good for student and other that will share defenetaly so learner can learn something.

To conclude, some experts to share infomartion regarding reserch is beneficial for student , business and acadmic but also if critical information is drawback so restricted some information.

Coherence and Cohesion5.5
Lexical Resource5.0
Grammatical Range and Accuracy5.0
Overall5.0

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses the task partially, attempting to discuss both views and give an opinion. However, the ideas remain limited and under-developed, with repetitive arguments about student learning and business secrets. Furthermore, the length requirement was not met, as the text contains only 226 words against the minimum of 250 words. To reach a higher level, the writer needs to extend ideas with fully supported examples and explanations, ensuring the word count requirement is satisfied.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

There is some organisation with basic paragraphing and transitional phrases like 'To begin with' and 'Furthermore', but there is no clear overall progression of ideas. Cohesive devices are sometimes inaccurate or repetitive, and referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in sentences starting abruptly without proper links to previous points. Progression feels disjointed. To improve, the writer should ensure that ideas logically flow from one paragraph to the next with more precise and varied cohesive ties.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited but minimally adequate to convey basic meaning. There are noticeable errors in spelling, word form, and word choice, such as 'benificial', 'fare', 'benefiacial', 'reserch', 'devlopment', and 'confidencial', which cause some difficulty for the reader. The range of vocabulary is narrow and relies heavily on repeating prompt words. To progress, the writer must expand their lexical range and pay closer attention to accurate spelling and word formation.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The text shows a very limited range of sentence structures, with attempts at complex sentences often faulty or incomplete, such as 'many scientist research and innovation is benefiacial for students progress'. Frequent errors in verb forms, articles, plurals, and subject-verb agreement are present throughout the essay, which can cause difficulty for the reader. To achieve a higher score, the writer needs to demonstrate a greater variety of error-free sentence structures and improve basic grammatical accuracy.
