Student answer (Band 4.5)
While some others believe that it is beneficial to share as much information in scientific research, business and the academic world, others contradict this and said that some information is too important or valuable to be shared freely. In this essay, I will discuss both views and share my opinion with some examples.
I believe that it is important to share information in cases of scientific research, or business or the academic world. Because it creates an environment to motivate others to something related to this topic. Also, it will boost our mentality to do something faster and creates a competition environment so that anyone can participate in this competition and developed theirself. If we look into business specifically, it will demonstrate us the way that we can start something on our own risk.
On the other hand, I agree that it is not okay to share any information relating to scientific research, business and the academic field. I believe not to tell anybody befiore it's happens. Whenever, we are about to share naything to our ssurroundings it gives them a idea what is going on my mind and in result it may never happen because we told them, and it's already give us the joy of accomplishing it. So, for me I will go with my flow to not to tell anyone about my info.
In conclusion, we can say that while it has a beneficial side but also it has some other disadvantges also. So, I will not share my any information with anyone.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
The response responds to the task only minimally and is slightly under the minimum word count requirement, falling short by 3 words, with 9 words copied directly from the prompt excluded from the count. While the essay attempts to discuss both views regarding information sharing, the ideas are limited and under-developed. For instance, the arguments provided for sharing information in business and research are superficial, stating simply that it "creates an environment to motivate others" without offering concrete examples or logical extension. Furthermore, the writer's own position is somewhat contradictory and shifts focus toward personal sharing habits rather than the broader societal context of science and academia.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some basic organization with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion, but the essay lacks a clear overall progression. The relationship between sentences is often weak, and cohesive devices are inadequate, inaccurate, or overused, such as the repetitive use of 'Also' and 'So'. Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal logical flow of ideas within paragraphs is disrupted by abrupt transitions and personal anecdotes, such as jumping directly from academic research to the author's personal practice of not telling anyone about their plans.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, utilizing limited resources to express ideas about scientific research and business. There are noticeable errors in word choice, word form, and collocation that strain the reader, such as saying 'developed theirself' instead of 'developing themselves', using 'mentality' when 'motivation' or 'confidence' was intended, and writing 'befiore' and 'naything'. These lexical inaccuracies and limitations restrict the response to a restricted vocabulary band.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The essay displays a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on simple sentences alongside faulty attempts at complex forms. Errors are frequent throughout the text, including tense inconsistencies ('others contradict this and said'), incorrect prepositions, and structural confusion such as 'it already give us the joy'. These frequent errors in grammar and punctuation can cause difficulty and confusion for the reader in understanding the intended meaning.
