Student answer (Band 4.5)
Few masses think that it is good to share as much information as possible in scientific research, business and the academic world. Others believe that some information is too important or too valuable to be shared freely. However, I believe that information is valuable to be shared freely because too much information create confusion and stress.
On the one hand, why some masses favour the former statement that is with help of information people clear their doubt. This is due to the fact that when companies and other resources shared their information with society then people clear their doubt easily related to work. Also, they become more interested in business scientific research and that`s idea create many jobs and growth the economy. So, its beneficial for both companies and society. For instance, In Mumbai city big industries launched many project and firstly they give information to community for promoting their product and service. Therefore, people become more knowledgeable.
On the other hand, I believe that the latter point of view give the major reason given by them is create confusion. This means that some of time when researcher give all information to people then mostly people become confuse because they normally follow all things but they do not know what is right and wrong. Another reason given by them is burden. To justify, when people gain much information about scientific research and then they want to try or see the research but its not possible and they feel like it burden.
To conclude, even though aome people believe that its good to share much information, I believe that its valuable to be shared freely because burden and confusion reasons.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You present a position—that information should be shared freely—and include points about public understanding, economic growth, confusion and burden. You also attempt to discuss both perspectives, with a Mumbai example. However, the discussion is only minimally developed: the benefits are described generally, while the concerns are asserted rather than explained with a clear example. Your opinion is also difficult to interpret because you say sharing is valuable, then justify this by saying “too much information create confusion and stress,” which seems to support limiting it. The response is 245 words, below the 250-word minimum; 34 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. Develop each side with clearer reasoning and make your position consistent.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “On the one hand” and “On the other hand,” and a conclusion. This gives the reader a basic route through the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear, and linking phrases sometimes introduce ideas that do not follow logically. For example, “the latter point of view” is followed by confusion and burden, but the opening position appears to favour sharing; the reference is therefore hard to track. The conclusion repeats the introduction without resolving this contradiction. Some sentences also run together, particularly in the first body paragraph. Use clearer topic sentences, connect each explanation directly to its claim, and ensure pronouns and references identify the viewpoint being discussed.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “scientific research,” “economy,” “community,” “researcher,” and “burden,” so the subject is generally identifiable. However, the range is basic and several expressions are repeated or used inaccurately, which can strain the reader. Phrases such as “Few masses,” “clear their doubt,” and “growth the economy” are not natural collocations, while “some of time” and “become confuse” show problems with word form or phrasing. Spelling and informal forms, including “aome” and “that`s,” also reduce control. Build a bank of accurate collocations for discussing access to information, such as public understanding, commercial confidentiality, and knowledge-sharing, and check word forms and spelling during revision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt some longer sentences and subordinate clauses, for example, “when companies and other resources shared their information with society then people clear their doubt.” However, these attempts are often inaccurate, and the response relies heavily on simple or loosely connected structures. Errors in tense, agreement, articles and sentence construction occur throughout: “information create confusion,” “the latter point of view give,” and “when researcher give all information” do not show reliable control of subject–verb agreement or noun forms. The sentence beginning “To justify” is also difficult to follow grammatically. These errors sometimes obscure the intended relationships between ideas. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then add clauses with “because,” “when” and “although,” checking verb forms and punctuation in each.
