Student answer (Band 5.0)

Some people argued that sharing our information for different research that includes our personal information is worth. While others believe that some informations which is too important or too valuable to be shared freely. This essay will discuss both views and will suggest relevent solutions. In my opinion, both prespective has its own benefits and could be worth to share limited information.

On the one hand, for scientific research and to thge academic world it is worth to share our information. In recent years, people use different information to get different knowledge. For example, if we share information about study, local busineses or our personal opinion about scientific research. This can help researchers to find suitable ways to address different issues or ccould help to discover new ideas. Consequently, sharing our infromation can sometimes results in negative ways but if we become able to use different informtaion properlt it could be beneficial for people.

On the other hand, others believe that some personal information should be private or not to share all the details. This is because sometimes sharing our some personal information can be challenging. For example, people might use our information to create negative affairs about us. This issue can create missunderstanding in a society.

In conclusion, both side has its positive and negative impacts. Sometimes sharing our personal information can create big issues but sharing our information is wort for scientific research, businesses and for academic world. I believe that sharing our information could be beneficial, if people use all details in a positive way.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You address both views and state a qualified opinion: sharing can be beneficial, but information should be limited and used positively. The two body paragraphs also give relevant reasons, including research helping to address issues and personal information being misused. However, the discussion is only partially developed: the examples remain general, and the view that valuable business or academic information should be protected is not explained in much detail. The conclusion largely repeats the introduction rather than drawing the discussion together. The response is 248 words, so it does not meet the 250-word minimum; the 10 words copied from the prompt are not counted. Develop each side with a specific example and explain your position more fully.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the intended direction. However, progression within paragraphs is limited, and several ideas are linked mechanically with “For example” and “This is because” rather than developed through clear explanation. The first body paragraph moves from research to business and personal opinions without showing how these examples connect. Some references, such as “This issue,” are broad and do not identify precisely which point they refer to. Build a clearer sequence in each paragraph: make one main claim, explain it, then give a focused example and its consequence.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “scientific research,” “address different issues,” “discover new ideas,” and “private.” This gives the response enough topic-related language to communicate its main points. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make the writing less natural, such as “information is worth,” “negative affairs,” and “use different information properlt.” Spelling errors, including “relevent,” “busineses,” and “missunderstanding,” are also noticeable. These issues sometimes make the reader pause to interpret the intended meaning. Aim for precise topic vocabulary and check spelling; for example, distinguish between sharing research findings and disclosing personal data.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “if we become able to use different information…” and a reason clause beginning “This is because.” These attempts show some range, but complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to affect clarity. For example, “some informations which is too important” has problems with countability and subject–verb agreement, while “both prespective has” and “sharing our infromation can sometimes results” show agreement or verb-form errors. The opening sentence is also incomplete in structure, and “could be worth to share” uses an incorrect pattern. Practise accurate sentence frames, especially agreement, verb forms, and infinitive or gerund patterns, then proofread each sentence for a complete main clause.
