Student answer (Band 5.0)
Yes, i believe that some information are too valuable to share with people freely as it will provide knowledge to people who are directed attach to that domain of information such as the use of AI in the current world's situation. many scientists are sharing both pros and cons of the the usage and from the researches and references we are aware of the advantages of the usage of AI in our daily life but we were not aware of the devastating affects of it which was uncovered by free Instagram videos and researches posted by scientists that come along the facts and evidences which made people aware of both aspects. However, I believe that we do not share abundance of information to people as it might harm them if people theses information used by untrained person that can be a big risk. For instance, there are plenty of research papers , experiments and knowledge available on atomic , subatomic particles, chemicals and agents but thank fully these are not accessible to every other person which make it safe and unavailable to common people otherwise these can be harmful to society when any anti social groups can access these material without any security checks and freely available them can use it to harm mankind.
Overall, it is good to have open access to some of the relevant material but abundance of it may harm society and information for awareness purposes need to be spread freely so that people can take precautions to save themselves.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You give a clear overall view: information can be shared for public awareness, but some material should be restricted because it could be misused. The examples involving AI and dangerous scientific materials are relevant and show an attempt to explain the risks. However, the discussion is uneven: the benefits of sharing are mainly illustrated through awareness of AI’s effects, while the opposing view receives more explanation. The essay also does not clearly develop why information should be shared in business and academic settings, which are specifically named in the prompt. To strengthen the response, explain both perspectives more fully and connect each example directly to the wider issue of access to research and knowledge.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has an identifiable line of thought, moving from the value of sharing information to the risks of unrestricted access, and it ends with a summary of your position. However, most of the discussion is placed in one very long paragraph, so the two views and your conclusion are not clearly separated. Linking words such as “However,” “For instance,” and “Overall” help signal relationships, but some connections are difficult to follow because several ideas are packed into long sentences. For example, the AI example shifts from research to Instagram videos without a clear explanation of how these support the argument. Use separate paragraphs for each view and make the progression between claims and examples more explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “research papers,” “atomic,” “subatomic particles,” “security checks,” and “precautions.” These choices help communicate the subject matter, and phrases such as “open access” are appropriate to the discussion. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “directed attach to that domain,” “abundance of information,” and “anti social groups.” Repetition of “information,” “people,” and “harm” also reduces precision. Aim for more natural academic phrasing and check spelling and word forms, including “effects” rather than “affects” in this context. More precise vocabulary would make your reasoning easier to understand.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt complex sentences using clauses and connectors, for example, the sentence beginning “However, I believe…” and the explanation introduced by “For instance.” This shows some ability to express cause, contrast, and examples. However, complex sentences are often difficult to control, and errors sometimes obscure the intended meaning. Examples include “some information are,” “if people theses information used,” and “which make it safe,” where agreement or sentence structure is faulty. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, particularly at sentence beginnings and around commas. Work on building shorter, complete sentences first, then combine ideas with accurate subordinate clauses. Check subject–verb agreement and ensure each clause has a clear subject and verb.
