Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is believed by a group of individuals that it is effective to exchange as much information as possibile in scientific research, business and the academic world, while others argue that some information is more essential or too favourable to be pass on freely. This essay will discuss both perspectives, before presenting my own opinion.
On the one hand, one of the major advantage to share as much information as possible in scientific research because people can understand many things. To elaborate, when people share academic news, a numerous students can access these types of information and they can understand what happen in the world. To give an example, Cambrige university sometimes provide plenty of news about their quality of study and their high-quality study resources. Additionally, if international businesses express planty of information about business related it would be more appropriate. As a result, individuals can access these information easily and they find it more beneficial.
On the other hand, there are several reasons why people believe that some information is more significant or desireable so people should share this details freely. Firstly, in today's world, news are too valuable because people can comprehend the world. For instance, some developing countries provide more information about their culture or current news freely. Consequently, people may know about other country's culture and lagnuage. Furthermore, without freely share any news people can not know what happen other courties. Moreover, a country if they share their every day information in this ways they can enhance their citizens awareness or responsibility.
In conclusion, although it is good to share as much information as possible in scientific research, business and the academic world, I believe that some information is crucial or much favourable to be share freely because in this way people can understand what happen in their country.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You introduce both views and state a preference in the conclusion, so the response is relevant to the question. However, the discussion only partially fulfils the task because the two positions are not clearly distinguished: the second body paragraph argues that information should be shared freely, rather than explaining why some information is too valuable or sensitive to share. Your examples about Cambridge University and developing countries are broad and do not show how information-sharing supports research, business, or academic progress. The opinion that information should be shared is also not fully explained or reconciled with the opposing view. Develop each side with a specific reason and example, and make your position consistent and explicit throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The essay has a recognisable introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help identify its sections. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: several sentences repeat the general idea that people can access information or understand the world without adding a distinct supporting point. The second body paragraph also does not develop the opposing view announced by its opening. Some links are mechanical or confusing, as in “Furthermore, without freely share any news…” and “Moreover, a country if they share…”. Organise each paragraph around one clear claim, then explain its consequence and give a relevant example; use referencing and transitions to show how each sentence connects.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “scientific research,” “academic,” “international businesses,” and “citizens’ awareness,” which helps keep the response connected to the subject. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make meaning less clear. For example, “too favourable to be pass on freely” does not express the idea of information being valuable or sensitive, while “share their every day information” is imprecise. Spelling errors such as “possibile,” “Cambrige,” “planty,” “desireable,” and “lagnuage” are noticeable. Build a more precise set of terms for both sides of the debate, such as “confidential data,” “intellectual property,” and “public access,” and check spelling and collocations during revision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt a mixture of simple statements and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “when,” “because,” and “if.” However, the range is limited, and errors in sentence structure, agreement, verb forms and articles occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to follow. Examples include “one of the major advantage to share,” “a numerous students can access,” and “people can not know what happen.” The conditional sentence beginning “Moreover, a country if they share…” is also poorly formed. Practise accurate patterns such as “One major advantage of sharing is that…” and “If a country shares…, its citizens can…”. Check subject–verb agreement, plural forms, infinitives and punctuation, especially when combining clauses.
