Student answer (Band 5.5)
A group of people may beilve that sharing more informations can be helpful for scientific research, business and the academic world. By contrast, other group of people may disagree with that considering information as important and too valuable to be shared freely. While sharing specific and clear information can be usefull in the research and academic area, but sometimes sharing everything or valuable data can make unethical position.
For doing or learning scientific research, business and the academic work, informations play an important role. Researchers need previous literature works or informations for doing new research or making a theory. For example, if any sociologist wants to analyze unemployment problem of last 5 years, he or she will need all the informations regarding unemployment rate of a certain period, and those information should be clear and specific.
However, all informations should not be shared freely because it might be valuable. For example, while a researcher collects feild data from their respondents, she or he should take consent or permission from the participant before sharing it. If respondent wants to keep secret soemthing researcher can not share those informations. Sharing thay will be unethical work in research.
Therefore, clear information can be worth sharing if it is helpful for the research and academic area but people need to be careful beacuse some information is too valuable to be shared freely. The way specific data can help, wrong information can be hamful insame way in research world. It is not neccessary that wromg information will not be important to be kept secret.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You discuss both perspectives: the benefits of sharing research information and the need to protect valuable or confidential data. The examples about unemployment statistics and obtaining participants’ consent are relevant and help explain your points. Your conclusion also indicates a cautious position: information can be shared when useful, but sensitive material should be protected. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The benefits to business and the academic world are mentioned but not explained separately, and the final point about “wrong information” is unclear and does not directly support your main position. To strengthen the response, explain the consequences of open sharing and of restricting access, then state your view more precisely and support it consistently.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Transitions such as “By contrast,” “However,” and “Therefore” help signal the direction of the discussion. Nevertheless, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and the conclusion introduces “wrong information” without establishing how it relates to the earlier argument about confidentiality. Some linking is mechanical, and references such as “those information” and “Sharing thay” make it harder to follow exactly what is being discussed. Organise each body paragraph around one clear claim, develop it with an explanation and example, and ensure that pronouns and linking phrases refer unambiguously to the relevant idea.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “scientific research,” “literature,” “respondents,” “consent,” and “unethical,” which shows an attempt to discuss the subject specifically. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, form, and spelling errors are noticeable. Examples include “informations,” “usefull,” “feild data,” and “hamful”; repeated use of “information” also makes the writing less varied. Some phrases are unnatural, such as “make unethical position” and “doing new research.” These issues sometimes make the intended meaning less clear. Build a more accurate set of collocations for research and data, and check spelling and countability; for example, use “information” as an uncountable noun and “conduct research” rather than “do research” where appropriate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast clause beginning “While sharing specific and clear information…” and a conditional example about a researcher analysing unemployment. However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to interpret. For instance, “While …, but sometimes …” combines two contrasting structures incorrectly, while “If respondent wants to keep secret something researcher can not share” lacks clear article use and sentence punctuation. There are also problems with agreement and sentence construction in “those information should be clear.” Practise building complete clauses with one clear main structure, and check articles, subject–verb agreement, and punctuation, especially in conditional sentences.
