Student answer (Band 5.0)

The characteristics of people to propagate good stuff among people is really able to be appreciated because it creates a sense of productivity in people to think intellectually. I always prefer those group of class who shares useful data with others than those who do not even discuss it.

As I said above, individuals who shares great stuff of information with people for their betterment is exceptional because by this way we can unknowingly assist a great proportion of people. However the thing which is rather common for us might be too significant for others so we should not keep the information limited to us.

On the other side. information goes waste or remains useless if we keep a prodigious or little amount of information just limited to us instead of spreading among the people who really needs that sort of data. We should do the things through which everyone could get advantage and become able to fulfill their tasks even more efficiently.

In my opinion, if we have any kind of information related to any field for instance in scientific research, business, or the academic world we should transfer that data to people who really needs it. By this way they can give their best to perform their work more better and this thing also provides them a reasonable amount of assistance to improve their practical skills and also helps to improve their carrier too.

In conclusion, I would say that we always find a little reason to assist people even if they do not require it and i think sharing information related to them is a really good way to provide assistance and guidance.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

The response gives a clear general preference for sharing information, especially in the paragraph beginning “In my opinion,” and it offers a reason: sharing may help others perform work and develop practical skills. However, the task asks you to discuss both views, and the argument that some information is too valuable or important to share freely is not meaningfully explained. The opening mentions people who do not share, but does not give their reasons or an example, such as commercial confidentiality or sensitive research. The supporting points for sharing are also broad and repeated rather than developed with specific evidence. To strengthen the response, explain the benefits and risks of each position, then make your own view explicit and support it with a relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has separate paragraphs and a recognisable sequence from an opening view to supporting points and a conclusion. Phrases such as “On the other side” and “In my opinion” signal shifts in the discussion. However, the progression is not consistently logical: the second and third paragraphs both repeat that information should be shared, while the opposing view is not developed, so the essay does not build a balanced discussion. Some links are also awkward or unclear, including “On the other side. information,” where the full stop interrupts the transition. The conclusion repeats the general preference rather than drawing together the two views. Organise the body into one paragraph for each position, use clear transitions, and ensure each paragraph advances a distinct point.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “scientific research,” “academic world,” “practical skills,” and “assistance,” and you attempt less common words such as “prodigious.” However, the range is limited by repeated use of “information,” “people,” and “share,” and several choices are unnatural or imprecise. For example, “propagate good stuff” and “transfer that data” do not sound natural in this context; “disseminate useful findings” or “make information available” would be more appropriate. “Carrier” also appears to be a spelling error for “career.” Aim for precise collocations and vary key terms with suitable alternatives, while avoiding uncommon vocabulary when its meaning or fit is uncertain.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a conditional structure in “if we have any kind of information … we should transfer that data.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and agreement errors occur repeatedly: “people to propagate … is,” “those group … shares,” and “individuals who shares.” Other problems include “people who really needs” and the comparative form “more better.” Punctuation also affects clarity, as in “On the other side. information,” and the final “i” should be capitalised. These errors sometimes make the reader pause, although the main message is generally understandable. Practise subject–verb agreement and sentence boundaries, then proofread each sentence for one clear subject and correctly formed verb.
