Student answer (Band 5.5)
Some people assume that sharing infromation and facts is beneficial and great thing. However, others believe that spreading essential information that is very sensible might be a negative thing. In my opinion, i think that it depends on the information, sharing data in multiple fields can be great thing and bad thing at the same time.
To begin with the thought of how good it is to spread important facts that some individuals believe it is beneficial. In other words, they think that letting people know about crucial information in many domains like academic wolrd, scientific research also business may spread basic knowledge and awarness in many things. For example, knowing facts about diseases like diabets and what can cause it. As result people would protect them selfes and avoid harmfull things.
On the other hand, Some people argue that sharing too much information can turn out in a negative way. They think that sharing valuable data freely in internet or websites may cause several issues in this world. For instance, letting people know about scientific facts like how is nuclears weapons and bombs are created. As result to many countries may know this information and may start wars which can impact the humanity in harmfull way.
In cocnlusion, I believe that sharing information is a good thing but with limits and only the beneficial facts. However, sharing valuable information is not always a good thing, so it completely depends on what is shared.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You discuss both views and give a personal position: sharing information can be beneficial, but “it depends on the information.” The examples about diabetes and nuclear weapons are relevant and help explain the contrast. However, the discussion is brief and the ideas are only partly developed; for example, you mention that health knowledge can help people avoid harm, but do not explain how information-sharing benefits research or business. Your opinion is also repeated in the conclusion rather than explored in more depth. The response is 243 words, so it does not meet the 250-word minimum. Develop each side with a fuller explanation and a specific example, then make your position more precise.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. Phrases such as “To begin with” and “On the other hand” signal the change in perspective, so the reader can follow the basic argument. However, progression within paragraphs is limited: the first body paragraph moves quickly from general knowledge to diabetes, while the second jumps from online information to war without fully connecting the steps. Some linking phrases are awkward or repetitive, including “As result” in both examples. Build clearer links between each claim, explanation, and example, and use a wider range of accurate transitions and referencing.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “scientific research,” “valuable data,” “crucial information,” and “nuclear weapons,” which makes the subject clear. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, such as “infromation,” “awarness,” “diabets,” and “harmfull.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, including “spreading essential information” and “turn out in a negative way.” These issues sometimes make the reader pause, even though the main meaning is generally understandable. Aim for accurate collocations and check spelling carefully; for example, use “sharing sensitive information” and “have negative consequences” where appropriate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrastive opening with “However” and a conditional idea about what may happen if information is shared. Nevertheless, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to affect clarity. For example, “Some people assume that sharing … is beneficial and great thing” is missing an article, while “they think that letting people know … may spread” has an unclear subject and structure. In “As result people would protect them selfes,” the sentence pattern and pronoun form are faulty. There are also punctuation problems, such as the run-on after “created.” Practise complete sentence patterns, articles, agreement, and punctuation, then proofread each sentence.
