Student answer (Band 5.0)
Few people believe that to share information as much as crucial in scientific research, business and academic world. However, others believe that some information is too crucial or too valuable to be shared freely.
In my opinion, those people who agree with to share information as much as in different fields they are absolutely right. Moreover, if we share important information it will be boost ou knowledge.
For instance, some students are working on project of medicine in scientific research if they share their knowledge to each other about this project they will be able to learning many new things and specific information. Moreover, this information also help them to design and manage thier project efficiently.
In addition, those people who believe that information is too important or too valuable to be shared freely they are also right. Because, in some situation the information is very important. For example, if we are working on the project of atomic bomb so, the information about this project is very crucial for the country. In addition, if we shared this information to someone as a result this condition create a risk for the safety of country.
In conclusion, some information are important for countries or societies development and safety. Furthermore, in few conditions we need to share information and knowledge because it is better way to boost our knowledge.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You present a relevant opinion in favour of sharing information and include a counterargument about sensitive research, so both views are recognisable. The examples of medical students sharing project knowledge and the risks of sharing atomic-bomb information are pertinent. However, the discussion is brief and the ideas are only minimally explained: the benefits are mainly described as learning more, while the opposing view is limited to national safety. Your conclusion repeats the two positions rather than resolving them with a clear, developed judgement. The response is 215 words, 35 words below the 250-word minimum; 11 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. Develop each side with fuller reasoning and make your final position more explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic, recognisable structure: an introduction, paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “For instance,” “In addition,” and “In conclusion” help signal examples and stages of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is limited, and several links feel mechanical or do not clearly connect the ideas. For example, “Moreover” introduces a second benefit without explaining how it follows from the first, while “Because” begins a fragment after the opposing view. The conclusion also repeats earlier points rather than bringing them together. Use clearer topic sentences and explain the relationship between each claim and its example to create a more continuous line of argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “scientific research,” “project,” “knowledge,” “information,” and “safety.” The examples make the intended meaning generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “important,” “crucial,” and “information.” Some choices and collocations are inaccurate or awkward, such as “boost ou knowledge,” “share their knowledge to each other,” and “for the countries or societies development.” Spelling slips such as “thier” also reduce accuracy. Build a wider set of precise terms for benefits, risks, and ownership of research, and check that verbs and nouns combine naturally.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple sentences and longer clauses, including conditional structures such as “if we share important information” and “if we are working on the project of atomic bomb.” This shows an effort to express causes and consequences. However, the range remains limited, and errors are frequent in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction. Examples include “it will be boost,” “they will be able to learning,” and “this information also help them.” The opening phrase “Few people believe that to share information as much as crucial” is also structurally unclear, and “Because” creates a sentence fragment. Practise forming complete clauses and checking subject–verb agreement and verb patterns; these changes will make your meaning easier to follow.
