Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, information pertaining to a specific scientific research plays a vital role in the in several aspects and groups of people. While, several believes that sharing too much information may cause numerous complications and challenges to the company and to the indivuals who are involved.
The main reason as to why it can be important to share data of scientific research is for the benefit of some group of people who could use it for educational researches and papers. For example, an educator could use the imformation shared to effectively deliver a topic with evidences and proof related to the research. Learners could also be one of the beneficiaries who could make use of the data. Incorporation of the outcome of the research to their own research would help them find the best conclusion for their hypothesis.
On the contrary, there are several down side of sharing too much information about the study. One major reason could be losing the competitive advantage of the company due to several competitors are munching on the ideas and results that are divulged and exposed to the public that are supposed to be private. One example would be when the company found a cure in the form a medicine, the competitors might imitate their solution and come up with the same products and medicines to be out in the market as well.
In my opinion, exposing the ideas, hypothesis, and results should be shared ad publicized once the data has become an output already. On the other hand, sharing information could help the learners effectively with their research papers and studies. It all comes down to the amount of information you release to the public.
In conclusion, releasing information regarding a specific scientific research could be a great way to share the knowledge that would benefit the teachers and the students. On the other hand, sharing too much might cause damage and could result to wasted opportunity in order to gain profit from the research. Having said that, exposing information about a scientific research could be a great help to the society with having a level of privacy and limitations on what to share and what needs to be private.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and give a personal position: sharing research can help educators and learners, while unrestricted disclosure may let competitors copy a company’s product. The medicine example makes the commercial concern concrete, and your conclusion returns to the idea of sharing with limits. However, the discussion is uneven: the benefits are mainly framed around education, leaving the task’s business and academic contexts less fully explored, while the opposing view is developed through only one example. Your position that information should be shared once it becomes an “output” is also not fully clear, since it is uncertain what counts as an output or what should remain private. Explain the distinction and develop both sides more evenly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, your opinion, and a conclusion. This makes the main line of argument easy to follow. You also use signposts such as “On the contrary,” “In my opinion,” and “In conclusion.” At times, however, cohesion is mechanical or the relationship between ideas is unclear. The opening “While” clause is not completed as a contrast, and “On the other hand” is repeated in the opinion and conclusion without clearly marking a new relationship. The final paragraph largely repeats earlier points. Use more precise links between claims and examples, and make each paragraph advance the argument rather than restate it.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of topic vocabulary, including “competitive advantage,” “hypothesis,” “imitate,” and “divulged,” which helps communicate the main ideas. There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice problems, such as “imformation,” “indivuals,” and “munching on the ideas,” the last of which is an unsuitable collocation in this context. Phrases such as “educational researches,” “down side,” and “come up with the same products and medicines to be out in the market” are awkward or imprecise. These do not prevent the reader from understanding your argument, but they reduce naturalness and precision. Check spelling carefully and favour accurate collocations, for example, “copy the research” or “bring a competing product to market.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional example (“when the company found a cure…”) and clauses explaining how research could benefit learners. The main ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. For example, “While, several believes” has incorrect punctuation and subject–verb agreement, and “due to several competitors are…” uses an incorrect clause pattern. There are also problems with articles and sentence construction in “in the several aspects” and “in the form a medicine.” The opening sentence is difficult to parse because its structure is incomplete. Review agreement, article use, and the grammar following linking expressions such as “while” and “due to.” More consistently controlled complex sentences would improve clarity.
