Student answer (Band 5.0)
In the era of technology, informations now days are easily accessable. These informations are great to help conduct research in the area of High tech research, business models and education system. When there is already confidentiality measures written before the research is done, we can focus on more solid informations rather the quantity of informations. I would agree with the statemenet that, it is good to share unfiltered informations.
Suppose we are doing research in the area of Medicine. In order to understand the whole context the research needs more participant to provide accurate yet all informations. From their background to medical history they are highly sensitive topic. It is a responsibilty for a researcher to maintain confidentiality. Sometimes there is a fear of getting the data out of hand. In that case we can take some measures to avoid this kind of incidents.
On the other hand, If we want to do a survey we first ask consent from them that their informations will be used for research purpose. So keeping all the measurs in mind we can say, it is good to share as much informations as possible. Otherwise, the result might get biased by too generic reason. This might not be an impactfull research if we filterout some informations. Cause their is always a causality in research. To conclude, By maintaining the rules and regulations we can share informations for valuable research where no one is harmed and no data is being misused. For such vast area of research it is essential to share knowledge from all range.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a relevant position in favour of sharing information, and the medical-research example usefully recognises the need to protect sensitive participant data. However, the task asks you to discuss both views, and the opposing argument—that some information may be too valuable or important to share freely—is not developed as a distinct viewpoint. Confidentiality is mentioned, but the essay mainly treats it as a safeguard that enables sharing. Your reasons for broad sharing, such as avoiding biased results, are relevant but remain general and are not supported with a specific example. To strengthen the response, explain why businesses or researchers might restrict valuable information, then weigh that concern against the benefits of sharing and make your position clear throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the medical example gives the discussion a recognisable focus. However, progression between ideas is not consistently clear. The first body paragraph discusses confidentiality, while the next begins, “On the other hand,” but continues to support sharing rather than presenting a contrasting view. Several links are also unclear, such as the move from consent to the claim that filtering information makes research less impactful. Repeated references to “informations” and repeated use of “research” make the flow feel repetitive. Organise the body around two clearly distinct views, use topic sentences to signal each one, and make sure linking phrases accurately describe the relationship between ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “confidentiality,” “participant,” “consent,” “biased” and “misused,” which helps communicate the subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or awkward, sometimes making the meaning less clear. Examples include “unfiltered informations,” “solid informations,” “generic reason” and “causality in research.” There are also noticeable spelling errors, such as “accessable,” “responsibilty” and “impactfull.” In addition, “information” is uncountable in this context, so repeating its plural form is incorrect. Build a more precise set of expressions for discussing data protection, commercial value and research findings, and check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some complex structures, for example, “When there is already confidentiality measures written before the research is done,” and “In order to understand the whole context…” However, the first construction is faulty, and errors in agreement, articles and sentence formation occur frequently enough to make parts of the response difficult to follow. Examples include “the research needs more participant,” “they are highly sensitive topic,” and “their is always a causality.” Some sentences also join ideas awkwardly, as in “So keeping all the measurs in mind we can say…” Capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent, including “If” and “By” after commas or within sentences. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses while checking subject–verb agreement and sentence boundaries.
