Student answer (Band 6.0)
Many individuals think that it is great to share every information in scientific research , business and education fields whereas some people think that data is very important to be shared freely.
In my point of view sharing the results of scientific research with the world is very essential to literate the world about that particualr field . It helps pupils or candidates that are also doing research or styding the same field can be benefitted from the results and this also helps other people to have knowledge about that particular research or do further experimentation in that field.
I also agree with the fact that this kind of data is very confidential and very valuable to be shared with everyone .Everybody must not have access to it as some people can misuse the data for other harmful and dangerous purposes.
In my perspective the solution of this problem is that we make scientific research portals and upload all the necessary information related to scientific research , business and academia over there. The access to such potals should only be given to individuals who will be given access after verifying their credibility and identification. That way we can share the information with the world but in a controlled way .
If we follow this solution world will be safe from people who use the science for dangerous puposes and these kind of people do not work for welfare of mankind and are involved in bad activities like terrorism and drugs manufacturing etc which is truly a devastating use of scientific data and research .
But this doesnt mean that we should not be literating or sharing much information on research , business or education world . We should share information that's not confidential and that is necessary to be shared with the world . That way we will not be gatekeeping the data that's essential for learners and researchers.
At last I'll conclude this that sharings information is a good things but that should'nt be shared with just everyone . Share such information after proper verification and then give access so that we can prevent misuse as much as possible.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and give a clear position: information should be shared, but access to sensitive material should be controlled. The discussion of research benefits is relevant, particularly the point that others can build on findings, and you explain the risk of misuse with examples such as terrorism and drug manufacturing. However, the two sides are not developed equally: the benefits of sharing are explained in general terms, while the risks receive more attention. The proposed verified portal is a relevant solution, but it takes space from developing the arguments and is not clearly tied to business or academic information. To strengthen the response, explain the value of protecting commercial or academic information and support each view with a specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has an overall logical arrangement: it introduces the issue, considers benefits and risks, proposes controlled access, and concludes with a qualified position. Paragraph breaks help distinguish these stages, and linking expressions such as “In my point of view,” “In my perspective,” and “At last” signal the direction of the discussion. However, the progression is sometimes repetitive: the ideas of controlled sharing and preventing misuse recur in several paragraphs, while the relationship between the proposed portal and the final recommendation could be made more direct. Some references, such as “this kind of data,” are broad and could point more clearly to a specific idea. Grouping the two views into focused paragraphs and using more precise referencing would make the cohesion less mechanical.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “scientific research,” “confidential,” “verification,” “misuse,” and “welfare of mankind,” which makes the main ideas understandable. There are also attempts to express more specific concepts, such as “controlled way” and “further experimentation.” However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, including “literate the world,” “every information,” “potals,” and “bad activities.” Spelling errors such as “particualr,” “styding,” and “puposes” also reduce the precision of the writing. Aim for more natural academic phrasing and check spelling carefully; this would help you express the same relevant ideas with greater clarity and control.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses with “whereas,” “as,” and “who,” and the overall meaning is generally clear. Some sentences are successfully extended to explain cause and effect, such as the point that research findings can help others conduct further experiments. However, there are some errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles, and punctuation. For example, “It helps pupils or candidates that are also doing research … can be benefitted” combines incompatible clause structures, and “Everybody must not have access to it” does not express the intended meaning clearly. There are also run-on or poorly punctuated sentences, particularly in the paragraph about harmful uses. Practise building complex sentences with one clear main clause and check agreement and sentence boundaries.
