Student answer (Band 5.0)

It is argued that share informations in scientifc research is beneficial. While others think that some information is too essential and valuable to be shared for free. While both sides have merit, I strongly belive that sharing informations for free is more beneficial. This essay will discuss both of views.

The proponents of this view argue that is good the share data and information for free .So it can anyone access to the content of this researsh without any fees. Because, it can be known who is able to take the responsability of the costs. However, there are many researchers or people want to develop their education such as students of university , which they can afforde the budget of their studies .Besides,if someone want to descovre the word of business as well as want to learn the tricks. How do you excpet from him to educate and learn and he is started from the zero and pay the fees to get some informations.

On the other hand, many belives that the researchers get tired to collect all the informartion that the individuals can get it in a second . That is why, it should not shared freely. Duo to it is value and importance. For instance a scientifc spend his entire life in labs and try theories with verifie if it is correct so it can be published. Some the others can benifice from his exhaustion. That is why it has to be some importante researche be paying. So like this he has something to encourage him to continue the devlopement.

In conclusion, there are some informations and researches should be paying while others being for free. I believe that the science and knowldeg have no cost and should be free for anybody who want to learn like this the world develope with exploitation.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both perspectives and state a clear preference for free sharing in the introduction and conclusion. The point that open access helps university students and people with limited budgets is relevant, while the example of a scientist spending years testing theories recognises the effort behind research. However, the discussion remains only partly developed: the first view is explained mainly through access and affordability, and the opposing view is reduced largely to rewarding researchers. The phrase “some important research be paying” is also unclear about which information should be restricted and why. Develop each side with a specific consequence or example, and explain how your position would balance access with protecting valuable work.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. This gives the reader a basic route through the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow, and linking expressions are sometimes inaccurate or repetitive. For example, “Because” begins a fragment, while “That is why” is used repeatedly without always making the relationship between ideas clear. The sentence beginning “How do you expect from him…” shifts into a rhetorical question and does not connect smoothly to the preceding point. Use clearer topic sentences, group related explanations together, and make each sentence’s link to the next explicit. This would create a more consistent overall progression.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “researchers,” “responsibility,” “valuable,” “published,” and “development.” However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make meaning harder to understand, such as “the word of business,” “some important research be paying,” and “the world develope with exploitation.” Spelling errors are also frequent, including “scientifc,” “researsh,” “belive,” and “knowldeg.” These issues sometimes obscure your intended meaning, particularly in the discussion of paid research. Build a reliable set of topic-specific phrases and check spelling and word forms carefully. Prefer precise expressions such as “charge for access” or “protect intellectual property” where they fit your meaning.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “while,” “because,” and “which.” However, control is inconsistent, and faulty sentence construction frequently makes the reader work to understand your ideas. Examples include “it can anyone access,” “many researchers or people want to develop their education … which they can afforde,” and “it should not shared freely.” There are also problems with articles, verb forms, agreement, and sentence boundaries; for instance, “a scientifc spend his entire life” and the fragment “Because, it can be known…”. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, then check verb forms and articles. Use complex clauses only when you can connect them accurately.
