Student answer (Band 4.0)
As some people believe that it is good to share as much information as possible in scientific research, bussiness and the academic world while other believe that some information is too important or too valuable to be shared freely. In my opinion I think that the information which is too imortant and too valuable should be shared freely. I want to say that if a men lost his pricious thing than he should be informed about that so that he can get that thing back as soon as possible otherwise he will loose that. Similarly if a person lost his pasport or cnic card so that he should be informed by some goverment officer or post office so that he should get that back. And if for just a second i believe that share information as much as possible so the people will face difficulties or even a big threat. Thats why I only believe that share important information freely. And the idea of the people who believe that share as much information as possible is only valid if that inform, ation is about some academic projects research work or information about bussiness but not valid for all the important informations because these information may safe a person his family or his job as well. Keeping all these views in mind I only believe that the information which is too important and too valuable should be shared freely. This idea can help humanity in all aspects of life so that he can live in a peacefull and friendly environment.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5
You state a position—“the information which is too important and too valuable should be shared freely”—and attempt to discuss both views. However, the response does not clearly explain why valuable information should be shared freely, and the examples about lost personal documents do not directly address sharing scientific, business, or academic information. The opposing view is mentioned, but its risks are only briefly asserted rather than explained. The conclusion repeats your position without adding support. The response is also 227 words, below the required 250; 31 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. To improve, explain each side with relevant examples, develop your own view consistently, and meet the minimum length.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.0
There is a recognisable attempt to introduce the issue, present examples, and restate your opinion, and phrases such as “Similarly,” “That’s why,” and “Keeping all these views in mind” signal relationships between ideas. However, the response is largely one paragraph, so the two viewpoints and your own position are not clearly separated. The progression is also difficult to follow: the lost-property examples lead into a warning about sharing information, then the response shifts to academic and business information without a clear explanation of how these points connect. Repeated statements of your opinion take the place of development. Use separate paragraphs for each view and the conclusion, and make each linking phrase express a clear, accurate relationship.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “scientific research,” “academic projects,” “business,” and “valuable,” and you attempt to express consequences with phrases such as “face difficulties” and “a big threat.” However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “important,” “valuable,” and “share information.” Spelling errors such as “bussiness,” “imortant,” “pricious,” and “goverment” reduce accuracy, while expressions such as “lost his precious thing” and “important informations” are not natural or precise in this context. Build a wider set of topic-specific terms, such as “research findings,” “commercially sensitive data,” and “public access,” and check spelling and natural word combinations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a conditional structure in “if a person lost his pasport or cnic card,” and most of the intended meaning can be understood. However, control is inconsistent, particularly in longer sentences. For example, “while other believe” has a subject–verb agreement problem, and “if a men lost … than he should be informed” contains errors in the conditional construction and sentence structure. The sentence beginning “And if for just a second i believe” is also difficult to interpret, and punctuation and capitalisation are unreliable. Practise forming clear complex sentences with accurate subjects, verbs, and conditional clauses; then proofread each sentence for agreement, articles, and punctuation.
