Student answer (Band 5.5)
First of all , I belive that information should not be limited to anyone because by sharing knowledge we raise it than loose. This is the equal right of everyone and when you asked someone on some topic may he or she help you by giving you advice and helps reduce workload or stress.
The information related to scientific research should not be hide from public or individuals by doing this they will just increase their stress level and spending their own money on varoius projects. So it will be very difficult for them to handle these situations. By sharing ideas and researches with public or individuals whose may are working on this relevant research so that will be very helpful for them by sharing ideas and notes as well and it will also beneficial for public regarding because they will get update their selfs by current situations and spread awareness about future disease. By following all of these ideas they could get some fund from government sectors or some other private sectors.
But business is a quiet different thing they need to follow lead and rules aout not to share their ideas with others because they want to compete their competetor. But they can officialy share their achivements.
In academic world its very important for institutes to share their knowledge with others sectors for getting some advices from them. This will be very helpful for all of them and by sharing their goals which helps them to attract new students wolrd wide. They can show their activities which helps new-comers to engage with them.
In conclusion , Knowldge should be share with others if these sectors wants some improvements and wants to expand their knowledge. But there is a point that knowledge which are beneficial for all human beings should be shared but thats not mean you share defence knowledge of your country im any reasons with other countries becauce that way they could harm their own public in which they are living.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear general view that information should usually be shared, while recognising an exception for sensitive defence knowledge. You also discuss scientific research, business and education, so the response engages with the main areas in the prompt. However, the two positions are not explored evenly: the case for protecting valuable information is mainly reduced to business competition and national defence, with little explanation of why commercial or academic information might need protection. Several supporting points, such as reducing stress or attracting students, are asserted rather than explained with a specific example. To strengthen the response, explain the reasons behind both views and develop each with a relevant example, while making your position explicit and consistent throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an opening position, separate paragraphs on research, business and academia, and a conclusion. This helps readers identify the main topics. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow, particularly in the research paragraph, where costs, stress, collaboration, public awareness and funding are linked without clear explanation. Connectors such as “By sharing” and “This will be very helpful” recur, and some references, including “these situations” and “all of them,” do not clearly identify what they refer to. Use a clearer topic sentence for each paragraph, group related points together, and use precise referencing and a wider range of linking expressions to show how each idea supports your argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “scientific research,” “compete,” “achievements,” “defence knowledge” and “spread awareness,” which helps communicate the subject. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices, collocations and spelling errors make parts of the response difficult to interpret. For example, “raise it than loose” does not clearly express the intended benefit of sharing knowledge, while “follow lead and rules” and “update their selfs” are unclear or unnatural. Spelling errors such as “belive,” “varoius” and “competetor” also reduce accuracy. Build a bank of precise phrases for discussing access, intellectual property and public benefit, and check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses beginning with “because,” “when” and “which.” This shows an effort to express reasons and consequences. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence construction frequently interrupt meaning. For instance, “information should not be hide” has an incorrect verb form, and “when you asked someone on some topic may he or she help you” is not a complete, well-formed conditional sentence. Punctuation and spacing are also inconsistent. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly connected supporting clause, then check subject–verb agreement, verb forms and sentence boundaries before adding more complexity.
