Student answer (Band 5.0)
In todays era every person wants to know all information which are important to them or not, but they wants to know every single thing which are beneficial to know. Some people believe that it is good to share as much information as possible in scientific research, business and academic. Other people believe that some information is too important or too valuable to be shared freely. In First situation, it is true that information must be share as much as possible but it will became disadvantage for the person who is providing information. At some point it could be beneficial. It will be benifical if information of scientific research, business and the academic world get share as much as possisible it will help to our generation to grow more rapidly.Every person in country will become educated and can start their own business. Also new technologies can be invented.let us see an example if student have a doubt in any question teacher will help in it,after it if student will share this information to other it will be beneficial. On other believe information should not share because it is too important or not to share freely they are also right on their own path information are too important like information about new scientific research which can be provide more economy to country it will be waste if shared freely. And if a person have an business idea and shares with other if other started same business it will loss for person who shares this information. On my opinion if there is disadvantage of sharing information you should charge for it and if there is no disadvantage or loss of our own and beneficial to other we should share as much as possible

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and give a clear personal position: information should be shared when doing so causes no harm, while valuable material may warrant payment. Relevant examples include students sharing a teacher’s explanation and a business idea being copied. However, the two sides are not developed equally. The benefits of sharing are stated broadly—for example, that it will help a generation grow and enable new technologies—without explaining how open access leads to these outcomes. The risks are more concrete, but the claim about research improving a country’s economy also needs clarification. To strengthen the response, explain each example and make your position more precise about when information should be open, protected, or sold.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is a recognisable overall sequence: you introduce the debate, discuss the benefits of sharing, present reasons for protecting information, and finish with your opinion. This gives the reader a basic route through the response. However, ideas are crowded together in long blocks, and transitions are sometimes mechanical or unclear. Phrases such as “In First situation,” “On other believe,” and “On my opinion” do not connect the points naturally. The student-and-teacher example also appears within the benefits discussion without a clear explanation of how it supports the wider argument. Use separate paragraphs for the introduction, each view, and the conclusion, and link each example explicitly to the point it illustrates.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to discuss the issue, including “scientific research,” “technologies,” “business idea,” and “beneficial.” This makes the main subject and your examples understandable. However, the range is limited, and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “information,” “share,” and “beneficial.” Some choices are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “information are too important,” “it will loss,” and “share as much as possisible.” Spelling errors such as “benifical” and “posissible” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise range for discussing access and ownership—for example, “make findings publicly available,” “protect commercially sensitive information,” and “financial loss”—and check spelling and collocations during revision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with reasons and examples, so there is some variety in structure. The main ideas can generally be followed, but errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries recur. For example, “every person … they wants” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “information must be share” needs a passive form such as “must be shared.” In “if a person have an business idea,” the verb and article need correction. Several sentences run together, particularly the opening and the final opinion, making relationships between clauses harder to follow. Practise accurate conditional sentences and passive constructions, and use full stops to separate complete ideas.
