Student answer (Band 5.5)
Sharing information and reseach for free is an controversial issue today. While some people believe that sharing information as much as possible is benifical in all fields, others argue that sharing information should be paid for because of its importance and vaulability. I partly agree with both views.
Admittedly, those who support getting paid for giving information and scientific research are partly right because people nowadays work hard to get information and do a lot of research, ask, attempt to get the right approach or information as a result it is crucial for them to get a reward for sharing. In addition, some of them say that thier not professors or teachers so it is not thier duty to give what they get hardly for free and also the reward for the person who trade the knowledge would motivate him to do better and get more information and experiences.
On ther other hand, it is a good thing to share benifical knwoledge as they say "sharing is caring", all individuals should have free and open access to learn new thing, as a result we get a collective intelligence. Moreover, sharing knowledge assist a lot in the public and society foster innovation and an accelerated progress because if someone did a wrong approach or exprience and shared it with tbe individuals it facilates a lot them so they cant avoid it. also, History has shown that not allowing access to knowledge often leads to illegal trade of information and security risks, making it more difficult for states to regulate their quality which i partly agree with even though sharing is not the panacea to get information freely.
In conclusion, I believe that giving for free some information and type of knowledge is good, although the advantages for trading them.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You discuss both positions and state a qualified view with “I partly agree with both views,” so the response is relevant to the prompt. The paragraph supporting payment gives a reason—researchers invest effort and may deserve a reward—and the opposing paragraph explains how open access can support learning and innovation. However, the position remains broad, and the conclusion (“giving for free some information and type of knowledge is good, although the advantages for trading them”) does not clearly resolve which information should be shared or protected. Several points are asserted rather than explained: the claim about illegal information trade and security risks, for example, is not connected clearly to the main argument. Develop a more precise position and support each key reason with a specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Transitions such as “On the other hand” help signal the change in perspective, and the ideas generally follow a sensible order. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical or unclear. The first body paragraph contains a long chain of reasons joined by “because,” “as a result,” and “and,” making the relationship between ideas difficult to follow. In the second body paragraph, “which I partly agree with” has an unclear reference, while “also” begins a sentence without a clear link to the preceding point. Use shorter, more controlled sentences and make pronoun references explicit. A conclusion that directly synthesises the two sides would also strengthen the progression.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “scientific research,” “collective intelligence,” “innovation,” and “security risks,” which helps address the subject. There are also attempts at less common expressions, such as “panacea” and “accelerated progress.” However, spelling errors and inaccurate word choices are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause: examples include “reseach,” “benifical,” “vaulability,” and “knwoledge.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “get information and experiences” and “the person who trade the knowledge.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. Replacing repeated uses of “information” and “knowledge” with precise terms such as “findings,” “expertise,” or “research results” would add flexibility without sacrificing clarity.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “because,” “although,” and “if.” This shows an effort to express reasons and conditions, but some longer sentences are not controlled well enough, and grammatical errors can make relationships between ideas unclear. For example, “people nowadays work hard to get information and do a lot of research, ask, attempt to get the right approach” has an inconsistent series of verb forms. In “sharing knowledge assist,” the subject–verb agreement is incorrect, and “all individuals should have free and open access to learn new thing” has an article or plural-form problem. Sentence boundaries and punctuation also need attention, particularly where a new sentence begins with “also” or “History.” Build accuracy by separating long chains into complete sentences and checking agreement, articles, and plurals.
