Student answer (Band 5.5)
From a global point of view, many people argue that it is benifical to have every information free to enhance knowledge and technological skills in every field such as science and business, by getting deep and possible information about scientific reseaarches, business growth and academic world. While, many people believe that only important and valuable information have to be free for everyone.
Informations play a significant role in enhancement of skills and knowledge for every age group and in every field, but deciding which one is more important and valuable for whom and which one should be free is a major problem to differentiate. For example, their are lots of online classes run on social media platforms from where students find several informations about their courses and subjects and take ideas about science researches which is placing a crucial role in middle class and lower finacial background groups but deciding which data will free will effect in both ways to consumers, because after that many students can not affort those class while, many students take it more seriously as they are paying for it.
If they will only share more valueable datas free, it will also effect the understanding and create risk for the country as they dont have high security for it. I believe that goverment have to establish some rules and regulation on this to identify the importance of data without having the disadvantage for normal people.
In conclusion, free word decrease the importance of valuable information so it is important to have important and valuable data on cost but the daily and common informations should be free for everyone.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address the central debate by presenting a case for open access to information and arguing that valuable or sensitive material may need protection. Your opinion is clearest in the conclusion, where you distinguish between valuable data that should cost money and common information that should be free. However, the two views are not explored equally: the benefits of sharing research and business information are mentioned generally, while the risks of sharing valuable data are only briefly linked to national security. The example of online classes is relevant to access to education, but it does not clearly illustrate the debate across scientific research, business and academia. Develop each side with a specific reason and example, and state your position more directly in the introduction.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, moving from an introduction to supporting discussion and a conclusion. Paragraphing helps separate the general issue, an example and your final view. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because several ideas are packed into long sentences, particularly the discussion of online classes and who should pay for them. Connections such as “While” and “For example” are attempted, but some transitions do not clearly show the relationship between the ideas; the opening “While” clause, for instance, is not smoothly connected to a complete main clause. Use one main point per paragraph, make references such as “which data” precise, and use linking phrases to show contrast and cause rather than relying on them mechanically.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt vocabulary suited to the topic, including “enhance knowledge,” “significant role,” “valuable information” and “security.” These choices show an effort to discuss abstract issues rather than relying only on basic words. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate forms or collocations make the meaning less natural, such as “every information,” “scientific reseaarches,” “free word” and “take it more seriously.” Spelling errors, including “benifical,” “finacial” and “affort,” also reduce precision. Build a reliable set of topic phrases and check whether nouns are countable and whether verbs naturally combine with their objects. More precise wording would help distinguish open access, paid access and confidential information.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “because” and “as,” and the overall meaning can usually be followed. However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors recur in sentence boundaries, agreement, articles and verb forms. For example, “While, many people believe” is an incomplete or incorrectly joined construction, and “their are lots” has an agreement error. In “deciding which data will free will effect,” the clause structure and verb pattern make the point difficult to understand. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing spaces after full stops and commas. Practise building shorter, complete sentences first, then add subordinate clauses while checking subject–verb agreement and tense consistency.
