At first, If people share information and knowledge with others, this will help them to learn new things. It is good to share knowledge, people get to learn new things and they can impliment that information or ideas in their business or in any acadmic field. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You give a relevant response to both views: sharing knowledge can help people learn and apply ideas, while sharing confidential information may allow others to misuse it. Your opinion is also stated in the introduction and conclusion: share information that helps learning, but protect valuable data. However, the discussion is brief and the supporting points are under-developed; the example about bank accounts and passwords illustrates confidentiality, but does not address the scientific, business, and academic contexts in much detail. The response also contains 233 words, so it is 17 words below the required minimum; the eight words copied from the task prompt were not counted. Develop each side with a specific, relevant example and explain your reasoning more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. Linking phrases such as “At first,” “Moreover,” and “Apart from this” help signal the movement between points. However, progression within paragraphs is limited: several sentences repeat the idea that sharing helps people learn, rather than adding distinct supporting steps. Some links are also awkward or unclear, such as “Where other believe,” and the opening sentence’s contrast is difficult to follow. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each example explicitly to the point it supports. This would make the organisation more coherent and the cohesion less dependent on basic, sometimes inaccurate transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “confidential,” “knowledge,” “ideas,” and “valuable information,” so the main meaning is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and some word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which can make the reader pause. For example, “make their things go easily and successful” is imprecise, and “a quit bit dangerous” does not express the intended meaning naturally. Spelling errors such as “importans,” “impliment,” “acadmic,” and “accidentially” are noticeable. Aim to use more precise topic language, such as “protect intellectual property” or “share research findings,” and check spelling and common word combinations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple sentences and longer structures, including a conditional example beginning “while spreading information to others” and a relative clause describing data “which can help them.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to affect smooth reading. Examples include “other believe” instead of a plural verb form, “this will help them” after a plural subject, and “which can helps” in the conclusion. Sentence boundaries and capitalisation are also inconsistent, as in “In this essay we will discuss both of this views, My opinion…”. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles and plural forms, and use full stops to separate complete ideas. Build longer sentences only when you can control their structure.
