Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, many people believe that it is better to share information to scientific research, firms and to the academic world as much as possible. However, others argue that not all information or data is shareable, some are much important to hide and not worthy to give freely. I agree with this that, not all information is accessible to everyone some quite contains an important data. In this essay i will discuss both prespectives and give my own opinion with example.
On the one hand, some people believe that, sharing information is good which helps us in certain ways, such as students and individual can get benefit from that resources scientific research, acedmic domain and business. For example, a student is writing a research paper in which they need guidence and help, so if articles are published or availabe at internet he can easily access it and write their research using them as a models.
On the other hand, some argue that, information that is quite important or may be misuse not be shared or free to everyone, just like private data of business companies which should not be deliver to other company in that manners can use against their compitetor to compete them or may be damage their respect in market. Also i believe that some things is worth if it charge money such as books which is important for life lessons famous, namely, rich dad and poor dad, 48 laws of power so if it available free people dont show much interest on that.
In conclusion, some people believe that, much as much information of scientific research and buisness, academic, should be shared to publicaly which is beneficial for many of us. While others argue that, not every information is free to share some are important to charge or hide for need.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both perspectives and state a position: you agree that not all information should be freely available. The examples of a student using published research and companies protecting private data are relevant to the topic. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The point about books being worth paying for shifts from protecting valuable information to whether people value free books, so its connection to the question is unclear. Your position also needs a more precise explanation of what should be shared and what should remain restricted. To strengthen the response, explain the benefits and risks in more detail and use examples that directly compare open research with confidential or commercially sensitive information.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. The signposts “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and several ideas are joined mechanically with repeated “so,” “also,” and “such as.” In the second body paragraph, the move from companies’ private data to paid books is abrupt, making the relationship between the examples difficult to follow. Some references, such as “that” and “it,” do not clearly identify what they refer to. Use clearer links between claims and examples, and organise each paragraph around one main point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “scientific research,” “private data,” “business companies,” and “academic domain,” which makes the subject clear. There are also attempts at more specific expressions, such as “compete” and “available.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning difficult to interpret. For example, “share information to scientific research” and “not worthy to give freely” do not express the intended ideas naturally; “misuse” is also used where a fuller phrase is needed. Spelling errors such as “prespectives,” “acedmic,” and “compitetor” further affect clarity. Build a bank of accurate topic collocations and check spelling and word forms during revision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional example beginning “if articles are published” and a relative clause about company data. However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors in agreement, articles, sentence boundaries, and punctuation recur. For instance, “some are much important” has an incorrect comparative form, while “some things is worth” has a subject–verb agreement error. The opening also joins two independent ideas with a comma in “not all information … some are much important,” and the sentence beginning “I agree with this that” is not well formed. These problems sometimes make the intended meaning harder to follow. Practise accurate clause construction and agreement, then proofread for sentence boundaries and punctuation.
