Student answer (Band 6.0)
Certain individuals advocate that we should share information as much as we can in the field of scientific research, business and academic world as it can be influencial for others who want to start their career in these sectors and the general public will get the opportunity to enrich their knowledge. On the other hand, others argue that some data is very significant and expensive to public this without any cost, which I support as well because it needs a huge amount of effort and time to obtain scientific statistics and business strategies, involves substantail amount of funding.
To begin, It requires a long period of time and hard work to carry out a scientific research, to estalish a business plan and academic theory. Sometimes, the investigators sacrifice their whole lives in order to attain success. As a result, the outcomes of these investigations are very essentail for them to be made free for the common people. Moreover, when someone endeavours to analyze anyting it involves a number of people and equipment. They have to invest enormous amount of funds for the tools and to pay the empolyees. In addition, they can not publish them freely in any platforms such newspapers, magazins. Therefore, they are forced to charge a fee for those information to be available.
On the flip side, it is a positive development to share such kinds of knowledge and findings with the people. They can be motivated and can implement them in their lives, For instance, when a new comer want to open a business or get into these professions, they will be able to acquire some experience and know the stricks and unique ideas from their data. Apart from this, it is the best way for the commoners to broaden their horizons as they can learn about the opinions and thinkings of those professionals.
To sum up, In my opinion, the information about research, business, academic should not be free of cost as it requies hard work, time and money in order to gain them.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and state a clear position: you support charging for information because producing research and business strategies requires “effort and time” and funding. The response also gives relevant reasons for sharing, including helping newcomers gain experience and allowing the public to broaden its knowledge. However, the two sides are not developed equally. The case for restricting access is explained in more detail, while the benefits of sharing remain general; the example of a newcomer is hypothetical and could be made more specific. Your conclusion repeats your position but does not acknowledge when sharing might still be valuable. Develop both perspectives with a concrete example and clarify whether you favour paid access in all cases or recognise exceptions such as publicly funded research.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay has a clear overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph explaining why information may have value, a paragraph supporting sharing, and a conclusion. Linking phrases such as “To begin,” “On the flip side,” and “To sum up” make the progression easy to follow. However, some connections are mechanical, and a few references are unclear. For example, “they can not publish them freely” leaves the reader to infer what “them” refers to, while “those information” does not clearly connect to a specific idea. The first body paragraph also combines the effort involved in research with the cost of publishing, without clearly separating these points. Use more precise referencing and organise each paragraph around a distinct reason, with explanation following each claim.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a reasonable range of topic-related vocabulary, including “scientific research,” “business strategies,” “investigators,” and “broaden their horizons.” These choices help communicate the main ideas, and you attempt less common expressions such as “endeavours to analyze.” However, inaccurate word choice, collocation, and spelling are noticeable and sometimes make the writing less natural. Examples include “expensive to public this,” “the stricks,” “thinkings,” and “substantail.” Some phrases are also imprecise, such as “academic should not be free of cost.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations—for example, “make information publicly available” and “protect commercially valuable information”—and proofread spelling and word forms. This would make your vocabulary more precise and consistent.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a relative clause in “individuals … who want to start their career” and a reason clause beginning “because it needs a huge amount of effort.” The main argument is generally understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. For instance, “a new comer want” has a subject–verb agreement problem, and “when someone endeavours … it involves” shifts awkwardly between the person and the activity. Articles and sentence boundaries also need attention: “in any platforms such newspapers” lacks a clear grammatical structure, while “their lives in order to attain success. As a result” is correctly separated but other long sentences would benefit from clearer punctuation. Review agreement, articles, and clause construction, then check each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
