Student answer (Band 6.0)

Some individuals say that it is better to share essential details in the research papers and educational world.Others think that some sort of information is so much significant and worthable that it distribute among the population without any charges. I strongly assert that it must be available for free.

To initiate this discussion, I would like to say that if the sources of gaining knowledge is free then it will assist the educational and technology skills of a nation. Moreover, our younger generation already loosing their interest in reading the knowledgeable sources. If they are paid then maybe they won't even think about it.For instance, during my university years I often studied some research papers and some useful books just because they are freely available.

On the flip side of a coin, there is school of thoughts that these potiential information must be paid.Furthermore, they say that the owner should earn some money for deliverying such essential knowledge to individuals.Consequently, this will help them to become financial stable. Also manage the funds that are required at the initial stage of a research. For example, I also published my research paper and when I doing the experiment I need funds but that time I spent from my own expenses. After publication I just received certificate not any reward as a shape of money.

From my perspective, Both people have their own believe but I must appriciate that if the research papers and articles would be available free and the writer get financial assistance from the sponosor whose name is using in the article or from government. This will motivate the individuals to do further innovations.

To put it in a nutshell,I pen down saying that the big organizations or the universities should buy such information and distribute it among their employees or students for free. This will aid both writer and audience.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both views and state a clear preference for free access, then propose sponsorship or government support as a way to fund research. The examples from your university studies and your own publication make the discussion relevant. However, the two sides are not developed equally: the benefits of free access are mainly linked to education and young people’s reading, while the case for charging is explained largely through researchers’ need for income and funding. The final proposal that organisations purchase information adds a useful qualification, but its relationship to your preference for free availability could be explained more clearly. Develop the consequences of each approach and show more explicitly how your solution balances access with researchers’ costs.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, a paragraph for each view, your own position, and a concluding recommendation. The progression is easy to follow, and signposts such as “On the flip side” and “From my perspective” help identify shifts in argument. This meets the lower-band expectations securely and shows some features of stronger organisation. However, several transitions feel formulaic, and the conclusion introduces the role of universities and large organisations without fully connecting it to the earlier discussion of sponsorship and government support. Some links between sentences are also abrupt, particularly around the funding example. Use referencing and transitions more precisely, and make the relationship between your proposed solution and the preceding arguments explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “research papers,” “financially stable,” “initial stage of a research,” and “further innovations,” so the reader can understand the main ideas. There are also attempts at less common phrasing, but inaccurate word choice, collocation, word forms, and spelling are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning less natural. Examples include “worthable,” “potiential information,” “deliverying,” and “as a shape of money”; “essential details” also does not clearly express the idea of sharing information freely. Build accuracy by learning common academic collocations and checking spelling and word forms. Prefer precise expressions such as “valuable information,” “fund research,” and “financial compensation” over direct translations or invented forms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You use both simple statements and attempts at more complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “if the sources of gaining knowledge is free then it will assist…” and a relative clause in “the sponsor whose name is using in the article.” The overall meaning is generally recoverable, but some errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction reduce accuracy. For example, “sources … is” needs plural agreement, “younger generation already loosing” lacks an auxiliary and uses the wrong verb form, and “when I doing the experiment I need funds” has faulty tense and clause structure. Punctuation also needs attention, especially spacing after full stops and commas. Practise checking each sentence for a clear subject and correctly formed verb, while retaining your attempts at complex structures.
