Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5

You state a clear preference for sharing information, and you refer to both the benefits of sharing and the concern that valuable information should not be freely available. However, the discussion of the opposing view is not really explained: the claim that information may be too important or valuable is repeated, but no reason or example is developed. Your own argument is also difficult to follow, particularly the point about information being useless after someone dies. The response contains 199 words, so it is 51 words below the required minimum; this limits how fully you can address both views and support your opinion. Develop each side with a clear reason and a relevant example, then explain your position more precisely.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

The response has a basic overall shape: an introduction, paragraphs presenting your view and the opposing view, and a conclusion. This gives the reader some sense of direction. However, progression within paragraphs is weak, and several ideas are repeated rather than connected or explained. For example, “share the information” recurs without clarifying how the information helps, while “While the other hand” is used awkwardly to introduce the opposing view. The conclusion, “Please share the information with someone,” does not clearly summarise the discussion. Use clear topic sentences, organise one main idea per paragraph, and connect each reason to an explanation or example. More accurate transitions and clearer references would make the argument easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “scientific research,” “academic world,” “valuable,” and “advantage,” so the general subject is recognisable. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “information” and “share.” There are also frequent spelling and word-choice problems, such as “belive,” “inforamtion,” “unusrfull,” and “contradicts the statement,” which make parts of the message less clear or natural. Some expressions, including “the person has also give the information about your work,” do not communicate the intended meaning precisely. Build a small set of accurate topic-specific phrases and check spelling and collocations; this will help you express the ideas with greater clarity and variety.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the reader can understand the broad position. However, control of sentence structure and basic grammar is inconsistent. Examples include “it is good to shared freely,” “First advantage are,” and “you can got more information,” where verb forms or agreement are incorrect. Articles and sentence construction are also problematic in “From the my point of view” and “The person has also give the information.” Several sentences run together or use punctuation inappropriately, as in “When you share the information anyone, you also know about the more inforamtion.” Practise forming accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses. Check verb forms, articles, agreement, and sentence boundaries during revision.
