Student answer (Band 5.0)

Nowadays, information is very important in our lives. some people beleive that all information should beleive shared freely, while others think that some information should be kept private. I maintain that, useful infiormation should be shared, yet confidential information should be protected.

One school of thought, is that all information should be shared freely around the people. such as, students, other scientist, doctors, teachers and so on. because it build their singal knowledge to multifirious knowledged. they are grow throught with many new ideas and wide range of knowledged. teachers no more about the way of teaching easily. scientist invented new things and discovered.

On the other hand, some people beleive that certain information is too valuable to be shared everyone. bussiness secrets are reveiled. in this reasearch their are use huge amount of money. Valuable information can be missuse by hackers. so, its harmful to the other people.

In my opinion, scientific reaseach share their information as well as limited. Only to students , other scientist and so on. some information kept be secret. it is good for every one . we think about everyone safety. Not only our safety. it is also our responsibility.

Different people have different notion regardig the statement but i have sound reasons to advocate that mare information should be shared, but confidental information should be protected.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both perspectives and state a position: useful information should be shared, while confidential material should be protected. The points about wider knowledge and new ideas, and about business secrets and hackers, are relevant to the prompt. However, these ideas remain limited and under-developed: for example, you do not explain how sharing helps scientific progress or give a specific example, and the risks of disclosure are asserted rather than illustrated. Your own view also shifts slightly between sharing information “only to students” and sharing “more information,” so its scope is not fully clear. The response is also 27 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to develop the discussion. Explain each side with a reason and example, then state your position consistently.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a concluding opinion. This helps the reader identify the main stages of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is often weak, and several points appear as disconnected statements, such as “scientist invented new things and discovered.” Linking is also sometimes inaccurate or mechanical: “such as” begins an incomplete example, while “On the other hand” is useful but does not make the following ideas fully connected. The conclusion repeats the position without clearly drawing together the reasons. Use complete topic sentences, connect each explanation to its claim, and use pronouns or linking phrases with clear references to improve the flow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “scientific research,” “business secrets,” “valuable information,” and “hackers,” so the reader can generally follow the subject. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts difficult to understand, such as “infiormation,” “multifirious knowledged,” and “missuse.” Some phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, including “shared freely around the people” and “their safety.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations rather than trying to use complicated wording. For instance, describe information as being “shared openly,” and explain that researchers can “build on one another’s findings.” Proofreading spelling and choosing precise topic vocabulary would make your argument clearer.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer structures, including the contrast in “I maintain that …, yet …” and the sentence beginning “while others think.” However, the range is limited, and attempts at more complex sentences are often faulty. Examples include “because it build their singal knowledge,” where the clause is incomplete and the verb does not agree with its subject, and “some information kept be secret,” which lacks a correctly formed verb phrase. There are also recurring problems with articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries, as in “One school of thought, is that all information…” and “such as, students…” Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement and punctuation before submitting.
