Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays sharing information is really easy. It is contended by some people that it is beneficial to share all possible infornation regarding scientific researchs, businesses or universities. In contrast other believe that all information should not be shared as some information is really crucial such as profits etc. This essay will discuss both views and i will give my opinion.
According to some people all possible information should be shared as it is effective in some ways. Initially, it will be beneficial for better study or research in academic institutions. When researchers know each and every thing they will be able to do research in better way. For instance if PHD scholars of a university collecting data for a scientific research on different companies aross the country and they have all the previous records of those companies they will able to do research in more effective way. The results will be more reliable.
On the other hand, sharing all the information has some detrimental affects also. Some information is really significant for scientists, academic institutions or businesses and it should not be shared freely. There are some matters such as profits or personal details. Some studies or survays invalve personal infornation of individuals. It should not be shared because anyone can get access to this information and can harm the person. Furthermore, some scientific discoveries are dangerous such as viruses , weapons and harmful technologies. If bad people get access to them they can easily harm the society on vast level. There are alot of examples of robots and now people are using them for bad purposes.
In my point, there should be balance and strict boundries in terms of sharing information. I am not against to share infornation but personal and inportant information should not be shared freely.
To sum up, there should be a balance and scientists, companies and educational institutions should profect important information.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both sides of the discussion and give a clear position: information should be shared selectively, while personal and important material should be protected. The examples about researchers using company records and the risks of exposing personal data or dangerous discoveries are relevant. This fits the criterion because the main ideas answer the question, but some are more fully explained than others. The benefits of sharing are mainly linked to better research and reliable results, while the risks receive more explanation. The point about robots is unclear and does not clearly show how it supports the argument about sharing information. Develop the benefits with a specific example and explain more precisely what kinds of information should be restricted and why.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, your opinion, and a conclusion. Transitions such as “On the other hand” and “To sum up” help readers follow the discussion, and the main points generally progress logically. This is stronger than a merely basic arrangement. However, some linking is mechanical, and the final opinion and conclusion repeat the same idea about balance without adding a final implication. Within paragraphs, connections between examples and claims could be made more explicit; for instance, the robot example follows the discussion of dangerous technologies but its relevance is not explained. Use referencing and transitions more flexibly, and ensure each example clearly supports the point immediately before it.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “scientific research,” “detrimental,” “personal details,” “reliable,” and “discoveries,” so the meaning is generally clear. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “it is contended” and “in my point.” However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, including “infornation,” “survays,” “inportant,” and “profect.” Some expressions are also imprecise or unnatural, such as “all possible information” and “harm the society on vast level.” These issues limit precision and make parts of the response less fluent. Check spelling carefully and choose more natural collocations, especially when describing the benefits and risks of sharing information.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “If bad people get access to them, they can easily harm the society” and a relative clause in “information … which should not be shared freely.” The overall meaning remains understandable, but some grammatical errors occur across the response. Examples include “other believe” instead of “others believe,” “they will able to do research” instead of “they will be able to do research,” and “I am not against to share,” which needs a different grammatical pattern. There are also issues with articles, plurals, and sentence punctuation. Practise accurate verb patterns and agreement, and proofread sentence boundaries and commas while continuing to use varied structures.
