Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, information is becoming increasingly in scientific research, trade and the academic word. some people believe that information should freely shared, while argue that information is too valuable or important to made. I believe that that information should freely share, but protected the private information,
on the other hand, sharing information has many advantage for society, it help us to gain knowledge and learn new skill from others. Moreover, scientist share our research and discoveries with other and other people take the advantage, which we can lead new invention and new medical treatment. For example, student of Pakistan universities can learn different online free course with out paying any fee. as a result, sharing information can improve knowledge, education , technology and science around the world
On the other hand, information is so valuable and sensitive. company spend lot of money and time ion developing a new idea and product. before lunching new product marketer collect the lot of information to the market. similar scientest contain lot of confidential information. For example. companies do not share the any information before launching the product. Protect the information is also important the business success.
In conclusion, although sharing information helps society develop and provides educational opportunities, some information should remain private to protect business interests and confidential data. In my opinion, there should be a balance between sharing useful knowledge and protecting valuable information.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views and give a clear overall position: information should generally be shared, while private or valuable material should be protected. The benefits paragraph gives relevant points about learning, scientific discoveries and medical treatment, and the business paragraph explains why companies may keep information confidential. However, several ideas are asserted rather than fully explained; for instance, the example about Pakistani university students taking free online courses does not show in detail how this supports the wider argument. The discussion of valuable information also focuses mainly on companies, with little development of the academic or scientific cases. The response is 18 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to develop these points. Add explanation and a specific example for each side.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion that restates your position. Linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help signal the main stages. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and some links are mechanical or inaccurate. For example, “which we can lead new invention” does not clearly connect the sharing of research to its result, while the sentence about marketers collecting market information interrupts the point about confidentiality. Punctuation and sentence boundaries also make the flow harder to follow in places. Organise each body paragraph around one main claim, then explain it and give a directly relevant example.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “scientific research,” “discoveries,” “medical treatment,” “confidential information,” and “business success.” This gives you a basic range for discussing the topic, but the vocabulary is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make parts of the response difficult to interpret. Examples include “academic word” for “academic world,” “before lunching” for “before launching,” and “scientest.” Phrases such as “take the advantage” and “collect the lot of information to the market” are also unnatural or unclear. Build a bank of accurate topic collocations, such as “share research findings,” “protect commercially sensitive data,” and “bring a product to market,” and check spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, and the conclusion communicates your position clearly. However, the range of structures is limited, and errors occur frequently in basic sentence patterns, verb forms, agreement, articles, and punctuation. For example, “information should freely shared” is missing a passive verb form, while “it help us” has incorrect subject–verb agreement. In “company spend lot of money,” the singular noun and verb do not agree, and the sentence also lacks an article. Some sentences run together or begin with lowercase letters, which affects readability. Practise accurate passive constructions and subject–verb agreement, then proofread each sentence for a complete subject and verb before adding more complex structures.
