IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The maps below show the centre of a small town called Islip as it is now, and plans for its development.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The maps comapre a Islip town centre in current time, and plans for its development.

Overall, it is evident that the twon centre has a number of facilities nowadays. The future plans are quit distinct with numerous facilities.

At the moment, the town cetre has a few facilities such as housing, school, park, and shops. The most effective aspects are shops and housing, both of have two one in this centre. Countryside area located top of the centre. There is slight good road system.

In the future, There are a significant number of facilities. The demanding area is the shops and new housing. One major aspect is that the road map system which regards on specific way in town centre. Furthermore, bus station, car park shopping centre, and pedestrians only will construct with nearby shops. Simultaneously, School and housing area would be able to far side of southern road. A dual carriageway also consider with new space will be implemented in town centre.
