The maps below show the centre of a small town called Islip as it is now, and plans for its development.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The maps demonstrate the centre of a small town called Islip as it is now,and plans for its development.
overall,it represents the two maps the present islip town centre and the planned development of the city in coming days with additional facilities and moreover,the complete renovation of the whole area.
In the present scenario,main road is situated between the shops,similarly in the northern side countryside is located.additionally ,housing and park is located at eastern side of town ,followed by,school and another housing place situated at southern territory.
similarly,second map illustrate the changes in town with additional facilities with new shopping centre,car park,bus station,pedestrians only road,and dual carriageway.as we can see new housing is build in the north east territory of town.Northern side of shops been removed to add more facilities instead of one.main road will be constructed at outskirts of the town to connect the place of city centre.whereas,countryside is demolished inorder to develop the town centre magnanimous,with modern features.
