IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The maps below show the centre of a small town called Islip as it is now, and plans for its development.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The map shows the information of the town islip and there is also a map called pre-planned or blue printof the town after the development.
In both the map there is very major difference we can see but in West-south corner school is not change and on south-east corner sancuatry/park is not changed,however the major difference is road Dual carriageway which avoid the traffic in the town and also gets more space for the new housing society,before we don't have any any services like bus-station,car-parking,and shopping mall but in new plan we can see that this type of facility are added in town and all shops are shifted from northside to middleof the town
So the conclusion is we can see that the new plan of islip town center is very advance and more attractive than the system that is running before after this development the islip town will called a well developed town center
