IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The maps below show the centre of a small town called Islip as it is now, and plans for its development.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The map illustrates the present town centre and its future development of a small town known as Islip.
Overall, as in future a new dual carriageway will took place around city centreand and convert into plaza, similarlt new bus stand and space for car parking and other ficilities will be develop in future.
At presend the main road has shops around it, while road will converted into pedestrains pathway and shopes on the north will transfre into bus stand, shoping centre and car park area. In addition new housing will also install on east side of the plaza near the entrance.
Furthermore, south side school, hous and park remain the same, however the area if the park will decrease. Houses in the middle of the centre of the will more to west of the plaza, also new resdential are will be install near the park area. It will all cover by a dual carriageway.
