IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The maps below show the centre of a small town called Islip as it is now, and plans for its development.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The maps shows the planned develpment of over all infrastructure of centre of a small town Islip and provide more facilities to citizens.
Overall, In the planned develpment of lslip center New housing will be develops and dual carriage way construct in the boundaries of the centre. In the shop area will be changes into Bus station, while shops reflects into shopping mall. In addition, Main road which is in the centre of the shops will be changes into Pedestrians only. Furthermore, New housing will be develop into the North-East side of the centre also in the South side. In contrast, School and park remains unchanged. Moreover, Shops those were in the left side of the main road also remains unchanged. Housing which were in the centre of lslip, will slightly move to the South-West of the centre near to Dual carriageway. In addition, the old housing which were in th south side will also move outside the carriageway. Furthermore, the entrance to lslip centre remains untouch.
