Student answer (Band 5.0)

In their advertising, startups nowadays usually emphasise that their products are new in some way. It is often argued that some believe in that it has a positive development. On the other hand few thinks it as a negative development and in my opinion it has a negavtive impression.

Therefore, Advertisment is significant for every brand. In this era businesses are growing because of the marketing techniques. For instance, there are so many brands who are showing their products reality instead of having wrong use of Aritifical intelligence. personally, I bought the stuff online only from that pages who have shown their real products. I try to avoid those use the AI.People these days are using Ai and make their products look more efficient and worth buying but in reality when you get the product its not like that.

Furthermore, it leaves a neagative effects on customer. For example, I have seen one more thing which is very dangerous. Brands are using different celebrities faces by the help of artifical technology. This is easily recognizable by the customers and it left the adverse impression.

To conclude, showing the fakness in product advertisment will decline the customer ratio instead of growth. Its important to showcase the origniality of the products.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You state a clear overall view in the opening and conclusion: you consider the development negative because misleading advertising can disappoint customers. You also give relevant examples involving AI-generated product images and celebrities’ faces. However, the response only partially addresses the task: it gives little explanation of why businesses emphasise novelty, and the positive side is mentioned only vaguely before you reject it. The examples are asserted rather than developed with clear consequences or supporting detail. The response contains 198 words, so it is 52 words below the 250-word minimum; 11 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. To strengthen your answer, explain the commercial reasons for highlighting newness, then develop your position with a specific example and its effects on consumers or businesses.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. The paragraphs broadly separate general advertising concerns from the example about celebrity images, and signposts such as “Furthermore” and “To conclude” help indicate the direction of the argument. However, progression is limited: the first body paragraph moves from marketing techniques to personal online shopping and then to AI without clearly connecting each point. The opening also presents opposing views without explaining how they relate to your own position. Some linking is mechanical, and references such as “it” in “it leaves a negative effects” are unclear. Organise each paragraph around one main claim, explain the link between its example and that claim, and use transitions that show the relationship between ideas.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “advertising,” “marketing techniques,” “customers,” “celebrities” and “adverse impression.” This gives the reader a basic understanding of your concerns about misleading promotion. However, the range is limited and several word choices or forms are inaccurate, sometimes making the meaning less clear. Examples include “negative impression” where you mean a negative development, “showing their products reality,” and “customer ratio.” Spelling errors such as “Advertisment,” “neagative,” “artifical” and “origniality” are also noticeable. Aim for more precise topic vocabulary and check spelling and collocations carefully. For instance, describe products as “represented accurately” and explain that misleading advertising may “undermine consumer trust.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a sentence beginning “For instance” and a contrast introduced by “On the other hand.” The main message is generally understandable, but grammatical errors occur frequently and some sentences are difficult to follow. For example, “some believe in that it has a positive development” has an incorrect construction, while “few thinks” has a subject–verb agreement error. In “it leaves a neagative effects on customer,” the article, number and agreement do not fit together. The sentence “I try to avoid those use the AI” is also incomplete in its structure. Practise building accurate clauses with clear subjects and verbs, and check agreement, articles and singular/plural forms before adding more complex structures.
