Student answer (Band 5.5)

In this developing world, most of the businesses gives advertise that their product are total new from the market runing product. From my perspective, this have pors as well as cons beacuse some time numerius advertise can help to make new customer nevertheless some time it gives dissatisfaction to the customers.

First and foremost, their are different types of advanteges of giving that advertise, which shows that your prodcut is different from other product. It can help to increase customer and also rice in sell as well profit, but the product is actually same as you show. Furthermore, their is the rule of a succeeful business to attract the customer to buy their commodity. It shows that, inovation is the most important part of a successful business. For example, two shopkeeper sell same product but one of them is sell their product by traditional method and other one is sell by giving new advertise and change their product arccoding to the need of the customer so the profit of second shopkeeper is more then first one.

On the other hand, some time not every products are same as the businesess man try to show in their advertise, so always take care of this, which advertse are trustable and which one is not. Moreover, when customer trust on the business man and he broke the trust of the people they loss their reputation in the market.

To sum up, giving advertiment your product, that it is different from other goods, is better but never give fake information to consumer beacuse the consumer is the most important part of the busiess.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both questions: you suggest that businesses advertise products as new to attract customers and increase sales, and you give a qualified view that this can be beneficial provided claims are not false. The example comparing two shopkeepers also supports the sales argument. However, the explanation of why businesses emphasise novelty remains narrow, and the example is difficult to follow because it does not clearly show what makes the product or advertising new. Your view is present, especially in the conclusion, but the opening says there are both advantages and disadvantages without clearly stating which side you consider stronger. Develop the reasons more fully and make your overall judgement explicit from the introduction onward.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph about advantages, a contrasting paragraph about misleading claims, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “First and foremost,” “On the other hand,” and “To sum up” help signal these stages. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear. For example, the shopkeeper example moves from traditional selling to changing a product according to customer needs, without clearly connecting this to advertising novelty. References such as “this” and “which advertise” are also unclear, and several ideas are joined in long sentences. Organise each paragraph around one main point, then explain and illustrate it in a clear sequence; use linking words only where the relationship between ideas is precise.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “innovation,” “profit,” “reputation,” and “consumer,” and you use some topic-related phrases such as “attract the customer.” However, the range is limited and many word-choice, spelling, and word-form errors make parts of the response difficult to understand. Examples include “gives advertise,” “rice in sell,” “numerius advertise,” and “advertiment.” Some expressions are also imprecise, such as “product are total new from the market runing product.” Build a reliable set of phrases for discussing advertising, novelty, sales, and consumer trust, and check spelling and word forms carefully. More accurate collocations would make your ideas clearer and more convincing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a contrast introduced by “but” and a conditional idea in “when customer trust on the business man and he broke the trust.” However, control is inconsistent, and frequent errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction sometimes obscure meaning. For instance, “most of the businesses gives” has incorrect subject–verb agreement, while “their is” should use a different subject form. In “two shopkeeper sell,” the plural noun and verb form are not controlled, and the sentence that follows contains several competing clauses. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then add subordinate clauses. Check each sentence for a clear subject and verb, correct agreement, and appropriate articles.
