In the electronic industry, RAMs play a very crucial role in a computer system, as it is works as a mediator between the central processing unit, or in short, CPU, and the other components through memory management.
Earlier, RAMs used to come without a heatsink, which resulted in issues like poor heat management in servers or workstations, causing failure of the system due to extreme heat generated not only by the RAMs but also by other equipment. While there was no apparent solution of cooling or effective management of heat. In order to solve this, RAM companies initialised manufacturing RAMs with proper heatsinks for effective heat management, leading to reduced system failures or forced shutdowns during daunting or complex processes which consume a significant portion of computing power in addition to prolonging the components' life span.
Ultimately, RAM companies advertising their newer models of RAMs with heatsinks definitely solved the prolonged problems of not only big workstations but also the Individual consumer

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: why businesses emphasize newness and whether this is positive or negative. However, the development is somewhat uneven. The introduction is vague, using the term 'adversity' incorrectly, which obscures the initial position. While the example of RAM heatsinks is relevant and well-explained, the essay focuses heavily on this single technical example rather than providing a broader discussion of the marketing phenomenon. The conclusion is abrupt and lacks a summary of the main argument. To reach a higher band, you should ensure your position is clearly stated in the introduction and supported by a wider range of arguments or examples that reflect the general business landscape.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression is occasionally hindered by awkward phrasing and repetitive sentence structures. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Therefore' and 'While', but some transitions feel mechanical or forced, such as 'As mentioned' when the previous paragraph did not clearly set up that point. Referencing is sometimes unclear, particularly in the opening paragraph where the connection between 'adversity' and 'customer' is confusing. The paragraphing is functional, but the flow between the abstract introduction and the specific technical example could be smoother to improve the overall coherence of the argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate but contains some inaccuracies and unnatural collocations. For instance, the use of 'in adversity' at the beginning is incorrect in this context, and 'initialised manufacturing' is not the standard way to describe the start of a production process. There is an attempt to use more sophisticated vocabulary like 'peculiarity' and 'daunting', but these are not always used with precision. The range is sufficient to convey the main ideas, but the lack of control over word choice and the occasional misuse of terms prevents a higher score. Focusing on learning collocations and word families would be beneficial.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as 'it is works as a mediator' and 'there was no apparent solution of cooling', which indicate a lack of control over verb forms and prepositions. While the meaning is generally clear, these errors occur frequently enough to be noticeable. Punctuation is mostly functional, but the sentence structure in the introduction is quite convoluted. To improve, you should focus on subject-verb agreement and ensuring that complex sentences are constructed accurately without unnecessary wordiness.
