Student answer (Band 5.0)
Anytype of business nowdays is you can say totaly depends upon advertisement .This is very important for sales.Nowdays business represent thier product is new someway. i think this have also negative and positive points .I discuss it in the below
Firstly, if a business have to sale their products they now that nowdays people want to do something different they want to use something new so they taged their product as new someway .For example their are differtent cars with their features no doubt features are in every car butt people choose who works smart.Thats why i ask about it that it is positive because it encourage businesses to increase and more perfection of product .This give benefits to peoples beacause it can creat competetion in the market.
Secondly, because of this technology move fast and faster in productions .Butt it is also have bad effects, suppose that if a company spend a lot of to interduce a product with better quality and then another company made same product butt their is bad quality. There is chance that by good advertisement people choose product with bad quality.Thats why nowdays it is not about which is better it is about which is on trends.
Sum up all this ,nowdays their are advantages of interducing of different products butt there are many bad impacts for companies and also for peoples if these types of advertisement held.It is cumbersome for people to choose better and best.According to my knowledge trends are important nowdays not good quality achieve that type of satisfaction nowdays.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing why businesses emphasise new products and offering an opinion on whether this is positive or negative. The writer manages to present a position throughout the essay, noting both advantages and disadvantages, such as encouraging market competition versus the risk of inferior products trending over quality. However, the ideas are relatively basic, limited, and under-developed due to insufficient elaboration and weak support. For instance, the example provided about cars is somewhat unclear and lacks specific depth. While the writer touches on all prompt requirements, the overall development corresponds to a Band 5 level where ideas remain somewhat restricted and lack full extension.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into logical paragraphs, including an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion, which shows some basic organisation. However, the progression of ideas is frequently disrupted by mechanical and repetitive cohesive devices, such as 'Nowdays', 'Firstly', 'Secondly', and 'Sum up all this'. Referencing and logical transitions between sentences are often faulty, creating a disjointed reading experience. For example, the transition from discussing car features to market competition lacks smooth connection. While the overall arrangement attempts to follow an essay structure, the inadequacy and mechanical repetition of cohesive elements place this performance at a Band 5 level.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited and repetitive, with frequent reliance on basic terms such as 'business', 'product', 'new', and 'nowdays' (misspelled consistently). There are numerous lexical and spelling errors, including 'Anytype', 'totaly', 'taged', 'differtent', 'butt' (used instead of 'but'), 'interduce', and 'creat'. While the student attempts less common vocabulary like 'competetion' and 'cumbersome', these are marred by inaccuracies and non-standard word choices that occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. The lexical range is minimally adequate for addressing the prompt, aligning with the descriptors for Band 5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0
The writing demonstrates a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on simple sentences and prone to frequent structural errors. Complex sentence attempts are often faulty, featuring missing articles, incorrect verb forms, run-on sentences, and punctuation issues. Examples include 'Anytype of business nowdays is you can say totaly depends upon advertisement' and 'suppose that if a company spend a lot of to interduce a product with better quality and then another company made same product butt their is bad quality.' These frequent errors cause considerable difficulty for the reader and obscure meaning in several places, which firmly reflects a Band 4 grammatical performance.
