Student answer (Band 4.5)
In todays competative market, companies are advertised their products are looked a new way and improve. This trend driven by the consumers bussiness competation and psychology. In my opnion, it is a largerly a negative development.
There are two reasons where bussiness lokks newess. firstly the competion from each bussiness mans who want to new products. For example, a man who emphasize the products in new form and he did not seebto other one in the market
Second reason is that many of people have craves to buy a new products in every years. For instance, when a psychology person buy a andriod phone or iphone and after one year when he saw the new phones than he buy it. The main issue is that the phones companies are loung their products every years. And it effect the enviormental health. People are buying the products from online watching the advertisments or any types of ad and than they order it .
On the other hand, it has a both negative and positive effect. In positive way the companies produced different types of products such as Phones, electric things and people also explore these products and buy it for their homes. The negative development of that the enviromental issues and also the wastage of money. people are buying new and old phones are throwing or sale it in low prices. Therefore, the advertising shows the every day products and people have curiosty to watch the new products and than want to trying to buy it.
In conclusion , In my point of view, the companies who wants to create their products in newess way that was the negative impact on the people and this development is makes people psyhcological and also it is the wastage of money and effect on the societ enviornment.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses both parts of the task by discussing why businesses emphasise new products, such as competition and consumer psychology, and presents a clear position that it is a negative development. However, the ideas are often underdeveloped, repetitive, and lack clear elaboration. For instance, the discussion on consumer psychology mentions buying iPhones or Android phones annually, but the reasoning is disjointed and drifts into unrelated points about environmental impact before fully explaining the initial premise. While all parts of the prompt are touched upon, the arguments lack depth and coherent extension. Consequently, this performance fits the Band 5 descriptors, where the task is addressed, but ideas remain limited and under-developed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay is divided into paragraphs, attempting an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, the logical progression is frequently disrupted by abrupt shifts in ideas and mechanical or inaccurate use of cohesive devices. For example, expressions like 'On the other hand, it has a both negative and positive effect' introduce contradictory points clumsily, and the transitions between sentences feel disjointed, as seen in 'The main issue is that the phones companies are loung their products every years. And it effect the enviormental health.' Furthermore, referencing is sometimes unclear, making it difficult to follow the line of argument. This level of organisation aligns with Band 5, where there is some overall structure, but clear progression is lacking and cohesive devices are inadequate or repetitive.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.0
The student uses a limited and repetitive vocabulary that is frequently strained by severe spelling and word-choice errors. Basic terms are often misspelled or misused, such as 'competative' instead of competitive, 'bussiness' instead of business, 'opnion' instead of opinion, 'loung' instead of launching, and 'psyhcological' instead of psychological. There are attempts to use less common vocabulary, such as 'consumer psychology' and 'environmental impact', but these are undermined by widespread lexical inaccuracies that frequently impede communication. The range of vocabulary is minimally adequate for expressing basic thoughts, placing the response squarely at Band 4, where basic vocabulary and frequent errors strain the reader.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.0
The response contains a very limited range of grammatical structures, and simple sentences are frequently affected by serious errors. Complex sentences are attempted, such as 'For instance, when a psychology person buy a andriod phone or iphone and after one year when he saw the new phones than he buy it,' but they are heavily flawed with tense inconsistencies, missing articles, and faulty syntax. Errors occur in almost every sentence, making it difficult for the reader to parse the intended meaning reliably. Because the errors are pervasive and distort meaning in several places, this performance meets the criteria for Band 4, characterised by very limited grammatical range and frequent errors that hinder comprehension.
