Student answer (Band 5.0)
Advertising the product is the new technology some people like this technology but some dislike it. Advertising the product is good for producers because in this way they introduce thier products in the market and people familiar their products easily.Because of advertising people know about the products come in the market at their homes.
In the modern era of technology it is the need of businessman to advertise their products.I think so it is beneficial for businessman. If we go back before advertisment people was not know abou the new product lanchued in market and the businessman never get the positive feedback of their products. But konw a days because of advertising the things people know about the new product on time and producer konw the demand of customers on time so in this way producer met the demand of customers on time
For example if we launching our new product like shampoo we advertise it in the market thro demasugh commercial people will come to know that we lanch a new shampoo they come and purchase this new shampoo and try it if they satisfied with their results they will come and purchase more shampoo on this we get the feedback on time and ready to meet our new demands. In this way businessman come to konw how products will be ready for sale.
But on the other hand their will be a side effect because it is very costly process. It also time taking waste of money process.to advertising the things we need a lot of money any and time.
In conclusion it have both negative or positive effects on the society. If it will take something on the other hand it will gain something.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response attempts to address all parts of the prompt regarding why businesses emphasise new products and whether this is a positive or negative development. However, the ideas are relatively basic and under-developed. For instance, the discussion on why businesses advertise focuses repetitively on introducing products to the market, and the evaluation of positive versus negative aspects lacks depth and sophisticated argumentation. The position is clear enough, but the generalisations prevent the response from reaching higher bands. It aligns best with Band 5 as it addresses the task only partially with limited and under-developed ideas.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay is divided into paragraphs, but the overall organisation lacks a clear progression. Cohesive devices are minimal, repetitive, or inaccurate, such as starting sentences abruptly with 'For example if we launching' or 'But konw a days'. Referencing is frequently unclear, and the links between sentences are often mechanical or missing entirely. While there is some logical sequencing in discussing the benefits and then the drawbacks in separate sections, the lack of smooth transitions and effective paragraphing results in a score of 4.5, rounded to 5.0 based on the general overall arrangement.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, with frequent spelling and word-choice errors that occasionally strain the reader (e.g., 'thier', 'abou', 'lanchued', 'konw', 'thro', 'demasugh', 'lanch'). The range is limited and minimally adequate for attempting the task, but lacks the flexibility or precision required for higher band levels. Attempts to use less common vocabulary result in non-standard phrases and spelling mistakes that impede smooth reading, placing the lexical resource firmly at Band 4.5, which rounds to 5.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
The text displays a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on simple sentences and run-on clauses without proper punctuation. There are frequent and systematic errors in tense usage, subject-verb agreement, and sentence boundaries (e.g., 'people was not know', 'the businessman never get', 'it have both negative or positive effects'). Complex structures are rarely attempted, and when they are, they contain noticeable errors that frequently cause difficulty for the reader. This performance aligns with Band 4.5, yielding a score of 4.5 or 5.0, reflecting consistent grammatical strain.
