Student answer (Band 5.0)

In current era many businesses try their best to proof that their products are advance in different ways, through advertisement. This is usually because companies want to increase their sales by manipulating the customer. Along with its benifits it also can be negative in certain cases.

One the onehand, big industries are in competition with eachother on makiing profit by gaining customers trust. And this is the significant reason why they are always in a race on introducing modern products, and then to pubic it through advertisement. Customers point of view play an important role in making sales, as user only want their product to be useful for long term and it should be advance according his need. Best product is advertised by customer itself, for example if person like the advance featues of any product he will definetely recommend it to everyone in his circle.

On the otherhand, This development can be negative if campany don't provide the same product shown in advertisement. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You address both questions: you suggest that businesses highlight novelty to attract customers and increase sales, and you identify a possible downside when advertised products do not match what buyers receive. However, the response only partially fulfils the task. Your view on whether this is positive or negative remains unclear: “Along with its benefits it also can be negative” introduces both sides without stating an overall judgement. The reasons are relevant but under-developed; for example, the point about customers recommending products is not clearly connected to why businesses emphasise that products are new. The final sentence is unfinished, leaving the positive side incomplete. The response is also 14 words below the required minimum. State a clear position and develop each reason with a complete explanation or example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some organisation: the response moves from an introduction to a paragraph about competition and customer interest, then to a drawback. Linking expressions such as “One the onehand” and “On the otherhand” signal a contrast, and examples are attempted. However, the overall progression is not clear because the response shifts between why businesses advertise novelty, customer recommendations, and the effects of misleading advertising without consistently showing how the ideas connect. The final paragraph begins “While they also have some clear positive things” but ends mid-sentence, disrupting the structure. Some linking phrases are inaccurate or awkward, and references such as “it” and “they” are not always immediately clear. Use a simple plan with one paragraph for reasons and one for your evaluation, and ensure each paragraph reaches a complete point.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “competition,” “customers,” “advertisement,” “modern products,” and “negative reviews,” which helps communicate the general subject. There are also attempts at more specific phrasing, such as “gaining customers’ trust” and “negative impact.” However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make the writing less clear, including “benifits,” “featues,” “definetely,” and “campanies.” Some combinations are unnatural, such as “pubic it through advertisement” and “race on introducing.” Choose accurate collocations and check spelling carefully; for example, businesses can “promote products through advertising” and “compete to attract customers.” More precise vocabulary would also help distinguish product innovation from simply claiming that a product is new.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a conditional idea in “if company don’t provide the same product shown in advertisement.” The main message is generally recoverable, but frequent errors in sentence structure and grammar sometimes make the reader work to understand it. Examples include “One the onehand” as an incomplete or malformed opening, “Customers point of view play” with incorrect possessive and subject–verb agreement, and “according his need,” which lacks a required grammatical element. Articles and plurals are also inconsistent, as in “an negative impact” and “if person like.” The final sentence is incomplete, so it cannot demonstrate accurate control. Practise complete sentence patterns, agreement, articles, and possessives, then proofread each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
