Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You identify a relevant reason for highlighting novelty—competition in a crowded market—and state that you see the trend as positive. However, the response only partially develops both parts of the question. The explanation of competition is difficult to follow: “markets can invent modern mobile phone” does not clearly show how advertising helps businesses attract buyers. The positive effects are also asserted rather than explained; for example, the discussion of automated cars and traffic does not establish how emphasising newness in advertising produces these benefits. The conclusion repeats your positive view but does not resolve these gaps. To strengthen the response, explain the link between novelty-focused advertising, consumer choice and business success, then support your evaluation with one or two specific, clearly developed examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the paragraphs broadly separate the reason for the advertising strategy from its perceived benefits. You also use signposting such as “For instance,” “From a broader perspective” and “In conclusion.” However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: the first body paragraph moves from market competition to phones, schoolchildren and science without showing how these points connect. Some linking phrases introduce ideas that are not fully explained, and the conclusion largely repeats earlier claims. Build each paragraph around one main point, explain it in a clear sequence, and use pronouns or linking expressions only when their references are unmistakable. This would make the overall organisation easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “novel,” “innovative,” “market competition,” “automated cars” and “traffic congestion,” which gives the response some relevant range. However, the vocabulary is limited and several noticeable word-choice, collocation and spelling errors make parts difficult to understand. Examples include “a big markets,” “sale digital technology,” “rentless technology innovation” and “provide comfort zone.” There are also misspellings such as “freqently,” “opinon” and “deliever.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations rather than adding ambitious terms: for instance, describe companies as “promoting new features” or “competing for consumers,” and check spelling and word forms carefully. More precise vocabulary would help communicate your ideas with less effort from the reader.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use some simple sentences and attempt longer structures, including “This is because…” and “In order to provide a product like automated cars.” However, the range is limited, and complex attempts are often incomplete or inaccurate. Agreement and verb forms are problematic in “advertising freqently highlight” and “business adopt,” while article and plural errors appear in “a mobile phones.” The fragment “In order to provide a product like automated cars” is not a complete sentence, and “Most people can purchase iphone and not attracted the other samsung phones” lacks a clear grammatical structure. These errors sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to recover. Practise complete sentence patterns, subject–verb agreement, articles and plural forms, then proofread each sentence for a clear subject and main verb.
